Our servet was top notch! Food was excellent. However the portions were very small for the price of the meal. I also think the side salad should be included with the meal.

We drove over an hour to meet friends at Sam B's. They drove almost an hour too. The food, ambience, and service were good. Love the Art Work on the walls! Our waitstaff switched and then switched back so that was a little confusing. Overall we were very satisfied. JH

We had reservations for much later in the day but called and luckily they could accommodate us earlier! Grace was our server who was very kind, patient and had a cute sense of humor that made our experience pleasant! Highly recommend SamB’s. Scallops, steak and crab and were on point.

Elegant but not fussy. Soft shell crab special was excellent (and we used to live near Chesapeake Bay). Service was attentive without being fawning. Wine and beer offerings covered a decent range without being overwhelming. In terms of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Sam B's was "just right."

This was our first time at SamB’s, and we have two young girls (3 and 6). The atmosphere is perfect - it is extremely nice, you can hear the music but it isn’t too loud that you can’t talk. And it wasn’t so quiet we felt our girls had to be too quiet. Our server (Grace) was phenomenal!! She recommended the Chicken Marsala for me, and it was the best Marsala I’ve had. My husband got Alfredo (-spinach) and he absolutely loved it! Our girls enjoyed the kids meals, and for the price it honestly was a great value. We were all satisfied when we left! You have to try the Peanut Butter Mousse Cake!

Absolutely one of the best places to get a real upscale dining experience in NorthwestOhio. Fantastic food at fair prices and great atmosphere. I love SamB's.

The service we had was okay. But for an evening out on Valentine's Day I would prefer not to be interrupted by the server as we talked or for the bill to be shoved between us at the end as we talked. Or for the server to interrupt us and ask if she could take our dish away, which we were still clearly eating (which happened more than once). Just generally, in a better restaurant, I expect the service to be a bit more unobtrusive. Not all the servers there are this way. It seemed to me to be reflective of poor training. The service we got this night was more reminiscent of what I might expect in a diner.

Had amazing service from Seth! We decided to split a few appetizers since it was happy hour and I have to say, you can’t go wrong with any of the choices! We will be back!

We drive down from Perrysburg on Saturday evenings for the weekend special menu. Excellent composition and execution. Staff has always been flexible, accomodating, and attentive without becoming pesky. Pricing on par or even a great deal for what we are getting in service, friendliness and value. Wine selection and suggested pairings have been spot on and clearly honest, not designed to steer into overpriced territory. "High end" for Toledo experience in Casual setting. Perfect for me!

The blackened chicken over fettuccine Alfredo was ok, but the chicken was over cooked and dry. Overall, food was good and server outstanding!

We enjoyed a NYE dinner for 2 and our reservations were at 6pm. We had brussel sprouts & bacon appetizer which was delicious! For dinner I had seafood stuffed lobster tail and my husband had fish stew. Both were amazing, but my husband would've enjoyed a bit more broth with his stew. Service was great, even though they were quite busy. Drinks and extras were brought to the table in a timely manner. We have enjoyed SamBs for many years as it was our rehearsal dinner location and continue to go there for special occasions and date nights!

Always a wonderful experience! Our server Rea is awesome and always the best service! Best Happy Hour in town... A little upset they took the Chicken Philly off the menu...only on a short time.

My family enjoyed celebrating our daughter’s birthday here. The drinks, appetizers, and meals were amazing. We will definitely return. We appreciated the happy hour prices and birthday meal discount.

Pretty unique menu. I had the blackened chicken fettucine alfrado and my son had a yummy and unique B's Mac N' Cheese which has beef tenderloin, shrimp and bacon. Pretty cool environment and vibe. I would definitely go back.

Food and service were great!! Server did wel in spite of being alone with a pretty full house. Noise level a bit much until one table left and our group were "older" folks too! We'll be back whenever we're in the neighborhood!
