I would go back again but maybe early evening where the noise level was not as bad. It was hard for both my husband and my mom to hear without yelling.

Server was attentive, food was good. Just wish they’d ask if we were celebrating anything special. We’ve booked twice thru Open Table, once for a bday and once for our anniversary and neither time did they recognize either. Not a huge deal but it’s always nice to be made to feel a little extra special. :)

Haven’t had a bad steak in all the times we’ve visited, but last nights steak was overcooked and extremely tough. Potato soup was too thick and clumpy. We’ve had many better experiences prior to last night.

Everytime I visit this restaurant the cooks have an issue with cooking the steaks at "Medium Well" 4 medium well steaks on the table last night and all of them were bloody and rare. When we showed the Woman manager she said "Well it's still supposed to be pink" we had to advise her there should be a small strip of pink in the middle with no blood. They ended up taking all of them back to cook them more but it's a steakhouse and charge $35+ per steak. I would expect them to be more on top of how to cook them.

The service was very good, attentive to the correct degree. The food was good, not great, but good. My problem is the price for what’s delivered. Pretty high in my opinion. Not a great value. Additionally, the drinks were expensive for what was delivered. Example, a simple gin and tonic. A short glass style, was packed with ice. The actual liquid drink was very small, two swallows is all I experienced. For the price, a poor value. Check in was also disappointing. Open Table reservation. Was initially told “No record of you”. It took a manger to find our reservation. Plus, some of our party was already seated! “New program…” excuse. Sure. Overall, it was OK, but won’t make it onto my “must return” list……

Our experience was awesome. They were extremely busy but were very transparent about it. We only waited about 20 minutes past our reservation time due to their long wait list. Pasha our waiter was amazing and provided amazing service. Even though he was extremely busy. Would highly recommend.

Server was very attentive and helpful. He made good suggestions and helped make substitutions for a food intolerance issue. Food was good. Only issue was our table was next to a fairly rambunctious family with younger kids but that’s too be expected at times, especially at lunch.

This was our second visit to this restaurant. The first visit was great. This one was not. Part of our negative experience was a result of an accident which we understand happen. A waiter got his tray stand caught going around a corner, losing my husband's meal in the process. In the meantime, I took a bit of my steak and I could only taste char. I turned the steak over. It was burnt on the outside. It took 10 minutes to get someone to take it back. We waited more than 30 minutes for our meals. My husband's hamburger was burnt and my new steak was not burnt but instead of medium rare, it was medium well. We were so hungry we didn't make a complaint. While we received an apology from the manager about the debacle, we were not offered anything in the way of compensation. We likely will not return.

One of our favorite places to eat in Texas. So glad we finally have Saltgrass in Omaha. The food is amazing, just as we remember from our visits South of the Red River. Drinking a Shiner Bock with supper is a Definite Plus.

We like it here , appreciate they are accommodating on the holidays for our small family. My only complaint was tooooo much breading on our country steak ( wasn’t that way other times we ordered it ! Also bathroom needed some attention. Thanks

Christmas day. The crowd was sparse, thus quiet. We were immediately seated near the fireplace, a very comfortable and intimate setting. Despite having to work the holiday, the staff were polite and personable. Our server, Juan, was on top of all of our needs but not intrusive. And the food! Outstanding! The sirloin was perfect in temperature and taste. The best smoked mac I've ever had!

We were thankful to be able to eat here on Christmas Day. The food and service were excellent. I wish we could have been seated a little closer to the front of the restaurant since I have great trouble walking. But the host seating us instead made us walk all the way to the back. We walked past many open tables. Other that that painful inconvenience, we thoroughly enjoyed our dining. Our waiter was great!

The only good thing about saltgrass was our waitresses phenomenal. My food came cold. My ribs are not warm at all. Thank you after waiting 45 minutes for it to come almost an hour. I just decided not to gripe, but it’s the last time I go there. It was a special occasion and they ruined it.

Great food and great service as always. My only complaint is that we were sat in a small room next to a large party. The server kept running into my husbands chair. We had to ask to be moved.

Saltgrass has excellent food and great service. I called the restaurant in advance to inquire on the menu. On arrival the manager even remembered speaking with me. I have been a frequent patron since September.

After being seated, my partner & I waited 30 minutes to be asked what we wanted to drink. It was our first time & it was our anniversary. We were almost going to leave (we were even looking up a different place to eat at) but then the waitress finally came she apologized for the wait. The app was great.. Our salads came out after our main dish though. I ordered a medium rare steak & it was more on the rare side. The waitress took a while to come back so I didn’t have the chance to really comment on it for them to cook it longer. Oh well! Overall, okay experience but not worth the $.

This was our second visit to Saltgrass Steakhouse and it was just as wonderful as the first. The staff warmly greeted us and promptly took us to our table. We got our yummy bread and beverages first and then our salads. I had a Caesar salad and my friend had a regular salad. Our food was so good! The steak literally melted in your mouth and was so tender, flavorful and juicy and prepared just as requested. The loaded baked potato was so good! Our waiter was very nice and attentive and made sure everything was to our liking. We will definitely be back!
