Overpriced for just a selection of two dishes. We ordered chicken with fennel and risotto. It was quite nice except the chicken was dry and overcooked. Dessert was a chocolate tart with raspberry sorbet. This was fine however did not need the extra hard chocolate crumb on top. We were offered a choice of two cocktails, neither of which I could drink. Overall for the set menu of $69 I think they could offer more choices and a cocktail of your choice.

I was taken to Salt and Spencer for Mothers Day and it was a wonderful day. The food was outstanding, staff excellent and the musician perfect to complete a memorable day.

A few more interesting add ons for breakfast would be good. Also wanted toast for our 3 year old - told that not available anymore.

Always my favourite go to place to eat! Service here is second to none. Absolutely love the staff and how they look after you….without being too in your face. Best location. The staff can never do enough for you! Food is always fresh and full of flavour.

Frances was superb with my elderly guests. Service was SO much faster than last time I was there, even with more diners. Food was good and the location unbeatable.

Food - the entree was tasty, but we felt the portion size was a little too much. Three of us chose the lamb main course, which lacked flavour. The meat was fine but the sauce was bland and didn’t support the meat. The sweet was lovely. The music was excellent The ambiance - it was too bright and the lights could do with being turned down. The place has the feel of a basement canteen, not a restaurant. Overall we think the price was too high for the environment and food on offer.

The setting is glorious and visiting dolphins certainly makes a great surprise for visiting daughter from Victoria!! Food was excellent - great way to start the day with breakfast in such a lovely place and dolphins too!

Trying too hard! Service was nice and accommodating, but the food disappointed. Kingfish sashimi: Fish served room temperature (weird!). Sauce lacks acidity. Strawberry pieces don’t work and have no place on the plate with the kingfish. Sourdough bread: Bread is nice and light, seasoned butter is weird, nice tomatoes, olives are good quality but should come pitted. Why not just offer a nice bruschetta with this nice sourdough!? Duck was ok but not great and lacks flavour. Sides: 2 lots of chip came blond, soggy and clearly undercooked. This place sadly overcharges and under-delivers in terms of value.

In essence, Salt and Spencer is not just a restaurant; it's a culinary haven where delectable dishes meet impeccable service, not to mention the view. Our waitress Bree had the most delightful presence, it's a place I can't wait to visit again.

Great venue for lunch or early dinner. View was amazing and the light sea breeze was a cooling relief. Open windows are a great addition to this area. Food was okay.

Almost reluctant to give such a glowing review cos want to be able to come whenever I like 😂. Molly's best kept secret but probs not for much longer. Had lunch with hubby for his birthday right near the window with sweeping views across the beach. Just beautiful.

Welcoming staff and great service .. the decor is gorgeous, the lights could be a little dimmer thou for more ambience .. amazing cocktails .. so lucky to use this space and enjoy beautiful mollymook beach.. great work guys :)

Fantastic view when we were moved to a table near a window (as requested when booking) but we had to wait a bit for that and were originally seated near the door leading to the outside live music area which was noisy. Wait staff were not very attentive to us where we were initially seated either but offered drinks to a table nearby who arrived after we did. The food was good but no staff member wished me a Happy Birthday (even when my husband mentioned that it was my birthday to our waitress). Just a bit more effort on the part of the staff would have improved our experience and my birthday.

Front of house service was excellent! Back of house very slow …it took 50 minutes for our entrees for 2 to arrive and very slow all around the restaurant.

Table service excellent Meals slow to come out 2 Ribeyes not cooked to request but had waited that long didn’t send back as other meals had arrived to our table and we were all very ready to eat

Service was very friendly and prompt, food arrived hot and looked very tasty. When my partner asked for extra cheese, this wasn't a problem and was returned with a smile. My steak was cooked to a perfect med/rare. Perfect food! Perfect service. I would highly recommend a visit what a perfect experience 👌. Brook and all staff were A1.

Right from entry we were greeted by a friendly helpful staff. Eimar (hopefully spelt correctly) was attentive, knowledgeable and cheerful. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and drink selections.

Mixing live amplified music with dining is never a good idea. One of our tables was very unstable and when I requested another table the Maitre'd was most unhelpful and had very poor communication skills. On the other hand the waitresses were good.

The duck may have been a bout old and should have been offered as scallopes, The table was close to the band and while we love music we felt it was slightly invasive. The service was good with the Irish waitress being most attentive. Can I suggest you can improve the meals with a more modern look at how cuisine is being offered in larger cities, and please keep in mind there is no failure, only feedback. Cheers Bill
