    Made a reservation online for 4 guests at 7pm on a Friday. Had to give my credit card to make the reservation, which made me nervous. Now I know why. This place is a dump. The lighting is really bright, terrible ambience. Service is slow. Menu lacks options. My husband and I arrived early to get a drink at the bar. We received waters right away, but it took 7 minutes before the bartender took our order. There were 10 other people seated at the bar. My vodka tonic barely had any ice and the limes were yellowed. Gross! After our friends arrived, the hostess seated us at a table in the dining room. The place was practically empty, except two other tables with guests and a private party setting up in a small room off the dining room. The hostess gave us menus that listed only one entree, salmon. I asked the hostess if there were any other dinner options because I had seen someone eating lamb chops at the bar. The hostess gave us one menu for the table. I don’t even remember what the options were. We decided to leave. We have lived in Southfield for 24 years. This is a tough city for restaurants, especially fine dining. It’s a shame we have to go outside of the city for good food and good service. Residents of Southfield deserve more and should demand more.

    When seated we got seated right next to the bathroom that was shared amongst the hotel and the restaurant which smelled horrible. The menus that were given to us were paper and dirty and stained, we asked for a drink menu they didn’t have one. Our waiter took a while to come back and ask for our order. I’m glad we didn’t order a drink because we caught the bartender biting on her finger. We were waiting for the food for a long while(sat down at 6:15pm and left at 7:05pm) we didn’t want to wait any longer for the food so we got up and went to eat somewhere else. The restaurant wasn’t busy for the service and the food to take that long to come to us.
