Went w some friends. food was average and presentation needs to be improved. server interrupted a lot! They didnt have all the wines from the menu. Place is cute and nice but overpriced and overall not worth it

The food was good overall but we had Larry as our server and he was probably the worst waiter we’ve ever experienced. He wasn’t friendly at all, it looks like he doesn’t care about his job. He was carelessly throwing the plates on the tables. He didn’t even smile. This was also the first time dining here and usually they tell us about their policies but Larry didn’t. When we got the bill there was an automatic 20% tip added as well as “food and alcohol tax”. Then on the menu, they advertised a “three course” which is an appetizer, entree and gelato for $50. A few of us ordered that and when the bill came, it was rang up as $64 on some. When asked, he said the gelato wasn’t included. (Even though it is advertised as part of the three course) He was very carefree. I would possibly go again as long as I don’t get Larry as our waiter.

We did not stay. So to be fair we can't say how the food was. The waiter was dress kind of sloppily, if he was actually the waiter. We were greeted with friendly smiles when we passed the bar. The main area was closed for a private event so perhaps we were in overflow seating? I don't know but it was humid and kind of dreary which is why we didn't stay.

I made a reservation for Mothers Day for 4. When I made the reservation on Open Table it didn’t say anywhere that it was a buffet style brunch and that it was a set price. There were other restaurants that did advertise a ‘Mother’s Day brunch or event’ and what the price was and if it was a buffet or not. Which I specifically didn’t want. Mimosa’s were good, service was good the buffet was not. Most of the food was cold. Definitely not worth the $65 price tag per person. Would not go back there. Beautiful inside but not good food. If the food was worth the price tag then it would’ve been no problem, but no.

This is an undiscovered gem. The food was delicious and the presentation lovely. The room is beautifully decorated (although not really consistent with the Caribbean theme). Our server was informative, attentive and welcoming. Really needs a sign at street level of the hotel entrance to make its existence known!

When I arrived they didn’t have my reservation. I showed them proof that I did have it. They weren’t busy so we were seated. Food wasn’t that good. The online menu is different from in person. My pancake still tasted a little raw. It was dead on a Saturday at noon so they weren’t that busy. They were cleaning um while we were eating as well.

Jessica at the bar was friendly, and when I advised her we had reservations for dinner at 1745, she called me by name, reflecting her grasp of the reservation schedule. Larry, our server, looked a little rough around the edges, but was very competent and went above and beyond in accommodating the allergies of one of our party. The food was excellent! My fish stew included a chunk of white fish that was very nicely cooked and smothered with a very tasty brew of sauce, sausage, and vegetables. Our dinner was very special.

Meridien hotel is a great renovation of the old courthouse. Food, service, and decor are excellent
