I ordered the carbonara pasta which was too salty and felt way more chewy than the first time I tried it, the steak was good, the wagyu tartar was not good at all, the karrage chicken was great

The food is not bad, but most of them are too salty. We ordered a spicy tuna tartare, which everyone recommended, and it was really salty. My friend and I only took a bite, and couldn't finish it. The waiter even didn't give us chopsticks and forks before the meal. We also ordered the udon, and it was also really spicy, though it cost like 40 bucks. I paid the deposit when booking the restaurant. When we were paying the check, the deposit was included in the total amount, so they could get more tip. Even though the interior is nice, this is my worst dining experience in New York. Not worth going.

Truffle steak tartare + shrimp tempura roll (a very unique style of preparation), and scallops were amazing! The chasing rabbit mocktails were heavenly and the strawberry compote with ice cream dessert was fantastic. Avoid the mochi donuts at all cost!

Very disappointing. After being seated, we were greeted by our server ordered water choice and then our server disappeared for over 20 minutes and we finally had a flag down a manager to ask to order some drinks and appetizers. We then had a new server who reset with us, good at first but then it was like we were forgotten about in the corner. Empty wine glasses when we had a bottle on ice (but not within our reach). Then we were wanting to order another drink, but we sat there and sat there. Our wine glasses were empty, bottle done. There was no food more food on the table, no one asked about more or desert and about 15 minutes after that we were able to flag somebody down and, just asked for a check. Maybe the food would’ve tasted better if it was an overall good experience but sadly, I don’t think I will ever go back. Too many other fantastic places in NYC to enjoy so don’t waste your time here.

Everything was amazing!!!! The food and service. The only issue was having to wait a little while for a table when we had reservations. But overall really good. Such beautiful night.

The restaurant is beautiful but greatly overpriced for what you get! I've had much better sushi at at local sushi restaurant. For the price, the food lacked flavor and portions were tiny! For a party of 8 the bill was close to $800 with the tip. Was a special occasion and the only occasion I will ever go there for! Please do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.

Our waiter Harry, Anthony, and Mike made my birthday dinner very special and memorable. Each dish was amazing as expected, although the lobster dish was by far the tables favorite! Thank you again to everyone that was so accommodating and welcoming!

The food was pretty good. Different from Asian cuisine I’m used to. I didn’t try the drinks because I was too busy being annoyed by my server (I won’t disclose his name). And the service. Tbh i won’t be back I’ll just go to Tao where I can get the ambiance+ great quality food and service not one or the other.

Staff were rushing us as soon as we got seated for my birthday dinner. We were advised we can be seated for 2 hrs, which is understandable and plenty of time for dinner. My party of 3 was very mindful of the time. However as soon as we were seated, we were asked to order within 5 mins, server asked me if I was done with my food when I had a plate full of noodle that I didn’t even have a chance to eat. There was about 1 hr left to the reservation. We ordered dessert 45 mins before our reservation time ended however, again, the server continued to rush us and remind us of our time limit. After we left our table, we went to sit by the bar to look at drinks and the server asked “are you guys getting drinks or what?” without even offering a menu when we got seated. She brought one around for us after we had asked. Overall one of the most uncomfortable environments. Food was delicious, but was not sure why the staff were being incredibly inhospitable.

Sake No Hana was a wonderful experience both for me and my friend. We started with a sake flight, because we were both first time sake drinkers. Our food came in a very timely manner and the server was able to answer our questions as best she could. Thank you Jessica!

We tried a variety of dishes: spicy tuna tartare, crispy Tokyo Gyoza, sashimi: yellowtail, salmon, tuna, Wagyu skewers (robot) and Diver Scallops, along with some house Sake. The food was delicious, the Sake was very good. We didn't love the vibe, but that doesn't make it bad. Our server was a little less attentive than we would have liked, but when food arrived, it was always at the perfect temperature. The only other minor complaint, we felt a little rushed - but I think this is a side effect of the staff wanting to keep the table clear of plates (but often we weren't done yet).

I never put any negative reviews on any Industry because I work in Retail and service is #1 priority. Sake No Hana honestly had the worst customer experience I ever had experienced. Yes some of it is my fault because I had a reservation and I was late 30 minutes. I called and explained I’m driving over 60 miles to have dinner at this place and due to all recent issues in NYC over past few days the traffic was horrendous. My table was given to someone else so they asked us to wait , we waited over an hour when I inquired with the manager I believe Chris very nice young man but couldn’t give me an answer if they can get a table for me and my family. I waited almost hour abd thirty minutes they still weren’t able to provide a clear timeline. So if I was 30 minutes late where did my table go and others who reserved afterwards was allocated table’s then there should be some room for them to accommodate me regardless of my lateness which I called ahead and informed. So sorry Sake No Hana … they can go Sake you know what…. Greatly disappointed.

Service was great. Our server was very attentive and helpful. However, food took an hour. Reservation was 7. Main entree came an hour later. Sat us in a very small table when the dining room was empty and vacant booths. Will not be going back.

Everything was great except the servcie. Which is a shame. Our server was attentive until after our mains. She didn't touch our table for an hour after that. We had to get our dessert, last round of drinks and waters refilled (finally) by the sommelier.

Paid $30 for reservations for me and my friends. I thought that $30 would’ve went towards the bill but it didn’t. There was no live music but we did arrive fairly late. We each got lychee martinis (which was good), they came in really small glasses (not the regular martini glass it comes in). Our waiter never told us the portions were sharing size so we had so much food left over. When the bill came the waiter tried to give himself a 20% tip but barely did anything. Overall it was an okay experience. Wouldn’t come back.

Waitress was rude, super awkward and looked down on us because we “only” ordered like 10 dishes. It was my wedding anniversary and we didn’t get any specific treatment meanwhile all the other tables around had birthday treats for instance.
