Saffron Urban Indian Kitchen is a concept Chef Diwesh has been dreaming and planning about for over a decade. His goal was/is to create a space that is inviting, calming & an ambience that compliments his food. We are a "contemporary casual dinning" with a passion for everything hopsitality. Chef Diwesh takes pride in what he serves and his team is equally passionate and dedicated to ensure to match rest of the experience with the amazing food.

While you can find familiar dishes in the main menu, Chef is particular about the ingredients and the overall quality of the food. He is also dedicated to a monthly tasting menu that will be served in the Chef's Table (by rservation only: will be activated early spring).

With the great reviews, I had high expectations. The food simply wasn’t as flavorful oth chicken dishes were dry. Food felt very Americanized. On the good side was good cocktails and service.

Very good Indian food. Our only complaint is the mulligatawny soup cup was only filled half way.

Cordial welcome, alert service (even while letting me linger), well-crafted cocktail (the Mumbai, a Boulevardier variation), assertive chutneys with the beef samosa appetizer, spice level as ordered for tender Lamb Madrasi, generous portions, excellent value thanks to three happy hour selections (including a glass of the house red blend). Saffron Urban Indian has been a favorite of mine since it opened.

I have never left a review for a restaurant, but Saffron was such a wonderful experience I had to. The food was incredible and the portions are huge. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and the workers were incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall 10/10 experience, will be coming back many times and I’d recommend this place to everyone.

Delicious! This was our third visit to Saffron and it was just as fabulous as the first two! Their samosas are wonderful; great flavors, delicious crust, yummy mint chutney! We also tried the artichoke and cheese naan and it was another win! It all paired beautifully with a bottle of Prisoner wine! We will definitely return.

If you are looking for a new cuisine then Saffron is the place to try. They customize your order to your level of spice. Very good, great place and we will go back.

The food is amazing as always. The tables along the windows are very close together, to the point it almost felt communal. Our server was less attentive than our neighbors table.

Absolutely fantastic great service, food, and ambiance. Just celebrated our anniversary here last night because we live in the neighborhood and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend the mango mule for anyone looking for a cocktail the juice was so fresh and delicious!

Very good restaurant. Wine was a little bit warm when served. Something to work on. The chicken korma and curry salmon were fantastic. The vegetable biryani was OK. Overall, a beautiful place and fun evening.

Saffron is one of our favorite places. Everyone is so nice and attentive. If you are unfamiliar with the food, all you have to do is ask and they will tell you what is in it and make a recommendation if you like. The food is very flavorful and plentiful!

Really good food. Service less than spectacular for a restaurant that automatically includes 20% gratuities for groups of five or more. Don’t mind the gratuities just make sure the service is up to speed which it was not.

We really liked our waitress who made excellent suggestions and had a very nice manner. However, we arrived at 8:05pm and were finally checked out at 10:15pm. It was New Years Eve, a busy night, but most of the dining room cleared out by 9pm. The food and drinks were very good, but our waitress could have made more money if she would have been more attentive.

Wonderfully accommodating for a party of 10 ( with 3 different checks!!). Service great considering how packed they were with large groups on NYE. My ONLY quibble is with the noise level. We were in the side room where all the noisy, large NYE groups were seated and most of the tables were very, very loud. No one’s fault but I will only eat in the main room Winter) or the outside patio (summer). Food was really, really good.

Me and 4 of my girlfriends had the most AMAZING experience here. The drinks and food all to die for. If you’re looking for a nice date night spot or a place to meet up with friends Saffron should be at the top of your list! I dream about my chicken masala every night and can’t wait to go back! 11/10

The Salmon Buhna was delicious! I also had a Coconut Mojito that was really good. The veg samosas weren't my favorite. The service was a bit awkward. It's a beautiful space! I love all of the plants! It gets a little loud when the dining room is full. Overall I was really pleased! I'll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time at Saffron. The atmosphere is cozy and classy. The food was top notch. My husband had the chicken masala and I had the lamb vindaloo. The lamb was melt in your mouth delicious. Drinks, apps, entrees and dessert were top notch. We will be back again!
