This is one of Atlanta’s hidden gems. If you enjoy meat, you owe it to yourself to visit. Prices are reasonable and the food is both ample portions and quality.

Food was delicious. I heard of this place from a local friend as a high value Latin steak house. And it is. Decor is cozy and the french fries taste like potatoes. Flan is a must.

The food is great and very authentic argentinean. We love going to Sabores del Plata. We used to know some women waiters here that were amazing, unfortunately the replacement are still not performing as the previous ones but I trust they are going to get there. We love the asado for 2/3 and we will keep coming here!

Visited weekday, with a couple of buddies. It was pretty empty. Two servers, one spoke very little English, which was very tough to order and discuss the menu. Luckily one of my friends speaks Spanish. Empanada appetizer were great. The Lengua (tounge) in a vinegarete may have been the best thing. The meat was a huge disappointment. We ordered the 10 cuts special. The picanha was super chewy. The best was the skirt steak and the neck meat. Everything else was chewy, including the short ribs which was a huge disappointment.

We recently made a trip to Uruguay and Argentina, and enjoyed the beef in all of the restaurants. We thought that Atlanta would have something to remind us of our trip, and Sabores del Plata did! Very nice people, great food and wine, a very good value! We went at 6:00 pm, almost had the restaurant to ourselves, and we were a little concerned that we had a dud. By the time we left - the restaurant was full of South American families if that tells you anything! (and they dined late in Uruguay and Buenos Aires too!) There wasn't an open table by 8:30! We'll go back!

Sadly, I only make it over there once a year. As usual, great service, wonderful food. Waitresses are bilingual, so no problem ordering.

Service e was slow and was not a very busy night, ordered the 10 meat plate and asked for medium and got well done. Ask for them to remake and they brought back very rare, never asked how was it now or checked back in. I will not return or recommend

The best true Uruguayan restaurant in Atlanta. Best churrasco (skirt steak) and chimichurri in the Atlanta area. The food is always excellent as is the service. I recommend making reservations.

Sabores del Plata is an all pro operation. Top flight cocktails, welcoming staff and perfectly prepared South American fare - mains, sides, desserts. I can barely wait for my next visit. All the stars.

Walked right in and immediately seated so that was a plus. We ordered the 10 Meat platter. Food arrived in great time but it wasn’t seasoned and many of the cuts were tough. Very disappointed. Drinks were good but we visited because of the advertising of the 10 meat.

I grew up in Uruguay and missed eating somewhere with authentic cuisine here. When I eat here I am back in Montevideo once again. Great food!

Drinks amazing. Empanada delicious. Flan sooooo delicious. However, both of the steaks were not good. Not good quality meat. Lots of gristle and tendons very difficult to chew. The service was very very good.

This is my second visit to the restaurant but I don't want to go back anymore the meat was not well cooked but at the same time when chewing it looked like chewing gum The blood sausage was raw but it was bursting For the price of 60 dollars for a grill for 2 I thought it was very poor quality
