Food and environment were great! But the service… for one, our server seemed like she was inconvenienced by us being there and was not only low-key rude but also un-attentive. secondly, those helping her out with running food just wanted to get the plates out of their hands. i would say we'd go back but after the service, id definitely question going back.

My first visit was not the best. My server was completely inattentive and acted as if she didn’t care to be there. The food was excellent the vibe was even better. I’ll definitely come back but she left a sour taste in my mouth. And with gratuity being included… she didn’t deserve anything!

Spent 10 minutes in a booth with no service, so we decided to move to the bar, hoping for improvement. Unfortunately, the bartender seemed disinterested, focusing on chatting with servers and washing dishes. After finally asking about our food, it took 30 minutes for both the appetizer and entree to arrive, and they were cold, indicating they had been sitting out for a while.

Food was great! Service, not so much. We chose outdoor seating at our reservation, upon arrival we were sat directly in the sun. (This was our first Visit so we were not familiar with the set up.) After 15 mins we asked the waitress if we could move to another table that wasn’t directly in the sun. (There were plenty of empty tables) The waitress was very nonchalant as if she had no control and said it was up to the hostess. We asked if she would ask the hostess if we could move to another table. After almost 20 minutes the waitress comes out and advised that all of the other tables were “reserved.” We dined for about another hour or so and no one came and sat at the tables that we were told were “reserved.” We were very disappointed as first time customers and also celebrating a birthday. The waitress was extremely slow to come and check if we needed anything. We ordered a hookah that was brought to our table with no tips. We waited another 30 minutes before we were able to get the tips to enjoy our hookah. Not to mention being charged 20% gratuity for a party of 3. Imagine being forced to tip when the services you received were underwhelming. Will not book again.

We originally had a patio reservation, but thunderstorms closed the patio. We were told less than 1 hour before our reservation that we couldn’t be accommodated inside either. When we arrived, we did get a table despite the host’s rude demeanor. Our waitress was great & the cocktails were good. However, we left upon being served a hookah with no coals. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to book a table with them in the future.

They had a strange 2 hour rule and they just asked us to leave after that, even though we wanted to stay and were wanting to order more. They never wished the couple for their anniversary even though the booking clearly mentioned that this was supposed to be a celebration. The manager came to defend their rules and then somehow they came back saying only if we order a full bottle of alcohol, they will allow us to stay longer. Two managers showed up, not trying to listen to us, but rather trying to defend their policies. I have no issues with their policy - they might be so busy that they don’t care about what the customer wants. The least I expect is a heads up that they are so packed that they can’t let us stay longer and at least a ‘last call’ before the said 2 hours are done. Situation should have been handled better. Worst service ever!!!

As it was the first time that we all visited Saaya, the experience was better than we expected. Everything was delicious and the aesthetics of the place was beautiful! We already planned to come back with our husbands.
