Beautiful view and good service The food was presented well but was rather tasteless and bland We might come back for a glass of wine outside and take in the view but not for food!

Went for a birthday party. The man at the reception was pretty lethargic and didn’t even great us when we walked in. He simply couldn’t be bothered. Food wise, everything was overcooked and overpriced for a very small portion. I’ve given the cake to the kitchen when we first walked in and asked to bring it to the table at the end as a surprise. The waiter just brought it in while the cake is still inside the box. We didn’t even get side plates for the cakes. The location however is very beautiful and they have a good range of wine. Probably won’t go back

Best view in the Goulburn Valley! Duck special was very tasty. Appreciated catering for my GF DF requirements. Rose was delicious as always, it’s my fave of the Tallis wines, as was the new Rose Spritzer. A very relaxing long lunch.

A good diverse menu of antipasto style foods with a good diverse wine list. The only reservation would be that there could be more wines served by the glass.

Such a fantastic way to kick off the weekend, enjoying the fresh air, taking in the beautiful scenery whilst giving those dormant muscles a wake up call. Such a great experience, thanks Hannah for offering this wonderful opportunity to partake in Pilates & Prosecco.

Had a lovely experience with my mum who was visiting from overseas. Food and drinks were beautiful and staff went out of their way to make the experience top notch. Beautiful views.

Great food and dreamy venue. We were more than welcome to take our drinks out into the hillside lawn to sit back and take in stunning views of Dookie Hills. The Tallis Voignier was sensational. Definitely be back.

Had lunch at Rye at Tallis celebrating my fathers 88th birthday. Food, service and view were fantastic. Only a couple of small issues - music was a bit loud outside to start for general conversation but was turned down on request and possibly need to ensure walk ways are kept clear - high chair which was placed on the end of another table obstructed walkway a little at the end of deck and could have been a trip hazard. Overall, though was great lunch, Riseling was really nice and we'll be back for sure!

Love the setting & the views are amazing. We probably should have ordered differently & shared some dishes though . The food was beautiful & was perfect to have with a lovely wine. We didn't realise though that it was more catering as a side to the wine & under ordered. We thought we would have had some side dish such as salad or vegs. There was no wine tasting on the day as expected. The service was friendly & inviting. We would certainly go again.

loved it! beautiful decor, marvellous views. Food and wine was fabulous. Our waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable. All in all a wonderful visit. Bought a bottle of wine to take home - shiraz, loved that too.

I highly recommend this place for the drinks and the view, it is an excellent location and very relaxing. If you go there just for this, it gets 5 stars all the way. For the food, we had the share plate, (which was pricey, especially with the lack of crackers) the chicken goujons (very juicy and tasty) and the chips (very helpful as a replacement for the lack of crackers). I paid for the meal and drinks, and was charged a fee for using a bank card, which I abhor, especially in this day and age. Later on, when looking at the online receipt, that was sent, I realised that they had overcharged me. Not a huge amount, but with the fee for the bank card, it just soured the experience a bit.

A little disappointed with the lamb on the ribs.Mostly fat but otherwise the rest of the meal was fine.

From the minute we entered Tallis, it was welcoming and the staff were friendly and professional. The share plates were delicious. We highly recommend the espresso Martini's. The views are the best on our region.

The welcoming and friendly staff providing the perfect beginning to pleasant afternoon spent chatting with friends a we dined on a gourmet platter, sipped on the local wine and enjoyed delicious cake and coffee to finish off our visit. The indoor table was ideal with lovely views across the canola crops and rolling hills.

Tallis at Rye is in a stunning location and during our visit we had a beautiful grazing platter and excellent locally grown wine from Tallis vineyards. The waiting team were attentive and helpful and very happy to move us outside onto a table in the sun. A beautiful place for lunch.

Absolutely 100% happy with our booking at Tallis, couldn’t fault it. The service was truly exceptional, and the food quality was delicious! Can’t forget to mention the beautiful drops of wine. We definitely will be back.

What a beautiful setting for a lovely dining space. We had a clear day and could see across to the ranges. The hosts were helpful and charming. The food was tasty and the local Tallis wine was very nice

My partner and I had a lovely experience at Rye at Tallis on the weekend. The space was cosy and fresh. Staff for very friendly and attentive and greeted us warmly as soon as we walked in. The views are amazing, even on a cloudy day. Service was fabulous. We received our food and wine in great time. We had the grazing platter, the burrata and the anchovies and they were all 10/10. Would highly recommend visiting Tallis. We will be back!!
