We were super excited to try out this new spot in West Des Moines. The appetizers, soup, and sides were outstanding, but the steak was well overdone for both of us. Our bread didn’t come out until we were almost finished with our meal which seemed odd. Manager gave us cheesecake to make up for the overdone steak, and the cheesecake was amazing. I applaud her for owning it and doing that for us. Overall, it was OK, but when I look at value for what we paid, it was pretty disappointing for our anniversary.

Took my family of five to dinner. Three head steak, two head fish dishes. Honestly honestly, so surprised at how poor the food preparation and quality was. The steaks were OK although one was cooked incorrectly. The lobster bisque was like water. So rummy could hardly eat it with a spoon. The wedge salad was al lettuce with little dressing or other accompaniments. I’ve eaten and Ruth’s Chris all over and at this location several times. Worst meal I’ve ever had. And for prices paid - absolutely unacceptable. You Are better than this!!! Chef needs to be fired!!

Great steaks cooked to perfection! I had the 16oz Ribeye and the wife had Filet with Shrimp. The creamed spinach and mushrooms were perfect. We ended the meal with one of the best Crème Brûlée we have ever enjoyed. A lot of crying babies and uncontroled 5-10 year olds. Everything is Ala Carte so it was a very pricy meal.

Felt very rushed throughout dinner...for example, celebrated birthday....literally while mid way through steak, the birthday cake was brought out. We asked if we could finish dinner first. Surprisingly, same thing happened as we were finishing the dinner. Message was clear. Finish the meal and leave promptly. We do appreciate the offer of the cake but was hoping for proper spacing between portions...Also, .several other smaller events occurred.

Let's start the minute you walk in the door, we were greeted by Pam who is ALWAYS nice and welcoming. Seated at a great table and we were lucky enough to have Elizabeth as our waitress. Everyone deserve a server like Elizabeth. Great personality, fun, smart and engaged with everyone at the table. Awesome service. Can't say enough about how well she took care of our table. Food was amazing as always. Steaks cooked perfectly, salad was great, fresh hot bread and our drinks stayed full. Amazing experience. Can't wait to go back. Hope we get to see Pam and Elizabeth again.
