Food was not as good as previous visits; service was really slow, no one refilled water, asked about more drinks and a desert never arrived but was on bill. Seems like restaurant was severely understaffed.

Food was okay but portions were definitely got smaller . Our fillet came with lobster tail which was literally two bites. My wife was supposed to get 3 shrimps got only two . Lobster bisque was barely 5-6 spoonful . Price was not smaller though. For the amount of money they charge should be better than this .it was little disappointing .

We've had our Mother's Day and Thanksgiving meals at Ruth's Chris Waltham MA location for the last 3 years and have never had a bad experience with the staff, food or dining experience. From our valet parking, to the hostess greeting us, to being seated at the time of our reservation, prompt greeting by waitstaff, drinks, appetizers, entree, desert, the dining experiences couldn't have been better.

Very disappointing experience, used to b one of our favorite restaurant to have a meal as a family. Not this time. Probably because it was mother day and they were too overwhelmed in the kitchen and lack of help. They screwed up our order and it was very slow and delayed. My dish was brought before it complete and the server noticed while serving and took it back right away. The rest of the dishes were very mediocre. A lower level casual restaurant would have done much better. I will never go to that restaurant again.

Third visit, was very disappointed. It was my husband’s birthday which I let them know ahead of time. They put in a sunny table next to the bar and dirty dishes corner instead of the dining room. The sun was in our eyes the entire meal. The table cloth had stains on it. Definitely not what you’d expect for an average of $50/per person. Food was great, no special dessert offered. Nonetheless, we will be sticking with Capital Grill for birthday celebrations from now on.

Service was subpar compared to high end steak houses such as Capital Grille. Food was consistent with other Ruth’s Chris that I have been too. You’re better off going to Capital Grille to have a better dining experience given it is about the same money.

Fantastic evening. Dirty Goose Martinis were great alongside our crab cake appetizer. We ordered a Caesar salad which was absolutely the best followed by a filet, a ribeye, and lobster tail. Sides we ordered were creamed, spinach, and sweet potato casserole. Everything was decadent and so flavorful. Wonderful spot to grab a quick drink in a beautiful upscale atmosphere and out of this world cuisine. The only negative I have is one ordering, my husband asked for the lobster bisque and a totally different waitress had come over at this point and said she would recommend not getting it. It is the number one returned item… We found that a little odd that she would actually say that. Of course, he didn’t order it and got something else but, What if he liked it?.. I asked why she was taking our order because she wasn’t our original waitress and she said they all help each other, which is great, but I tend to think our original waitress wouldn’t have been so blunt and how it was said. Nonetheless, we had a great time but still wonder about that lobster bisque and if we would have liked it .

Great service, family friendly though be conscious and considerate of others if your kids are not able to stay calm for 1.5 to 2 hours. A lot of value based menu options like a giant portion of sumptuous mac and cheese for under $20, the perfect meal for my daughter. And the steaks are as good as you’ll get anywhere. Most items are sharable size, so no need to over order.

I’ve been waiting a long time to go to Ruth’s Chris and was happy I finally went. It made all of my expectations and the food was outstanding. They were very accommodating and made our friends 80th birthday memorable. It’s the small things that make the biggest impact.

Our server, Joe, deserves special recognition for his outstanding service. Not only was he knowledgeable about the menu and wine selection, but he also went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was flawless. His attentiveness and helpfulness truly elevated our evening. The food at Ruth's Chris was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. From the perfectly cooked steaks to the delectable sides, every bite was a delight to the senses. Overall, my visit to Ruth's Chris in Waltham was truly memorable. The combination of excellent service, delicious food, and inviting ambiance made for a special evening that I won't soon forget. A night and a meal to remember! Our Petit Filets were amazing as were the brussels sprouts & asparagus. My friend also enjoyed the creme brulee. Our service was exceptional - a big thank you to our waiter, Joe, and the busboy/helper who recommended the creme brulee. The manager checked in with us, which is always nice and Gabe, the valet, was efficient and so helpful. I can't wait to go back!

We arrived for our meal at 5:00 pm and the restaurant was somewhat empty. The service at that time was great and personable. The food was cooked to perfection with our filet being outstanding. We would go back in a NY minute. It was a well managed restaurant.

Bad service. Waited over 20 minutes and had to ask 3 servers to get our waiter to get our drinks we ordered when we sat down. The place was 97% empty. Also 25 minutes after we ordered they told us they had no baked potatoes. It was the only potatoes we wanted or ordered. How can you run out of potatoes? Sad experience at was previously my favorite Restaraunt. Doubt I will ever return to this location.

Food was fantastic, however the booth we were sitting in was very dark! We actually used our phone flashlights to see our food. We were told they were unable to turn the lights up.

Every aspect of the dinner experience, from the valet parking to the warm greeting at the host desk, followed by the impeccable service from Scott, this visit to the Waltham Ruth's Chris was spectacular! We were celebrating our son's 8th birthday and he asked for steak, so we chose this location and they delivered! Thanks for a wonderful dinner.

The filet was perfectly cooked. But there was no cognac or peppercorn sauce. The cook didn't make it. Good steakhouses often have a variety of sauces to go with a filet. it was Easter so it was understandably rushed though our server was every efficient if a little brusk. overall a happy time.

We came to celebrate a birthday. The service was quite good as was the food. My martini was okay. The biggest surprise for me was to be seated in one of the back rooms of the restaurant. I would have preferred to be seated in the main dining room. The manager came by twice which was nice and parking was convenient.

Our server was never really connected to our table. It took a bit for him to even show up. Never checked on drinks. Food showed up and we were still eating starters and dishes /table not cleared. Very mediocre.

Our meal was delicious. The service on the other hand was not. Our server forgot to follow up and bring us items from our order. I had to ask after 20 minutes for my wine.

All in all we had a nice experience. We dined out for Boston Dine out. Our waiter Zach did an excellent job and was attentive. However, our food came out by the runners right on top of one another. I was half way through having my salad when they brought the steaks by but they didn’t say if they were for the allergy or not. Lack of communication on the courses. 4 different times they came over asking and trying to drop food that wasn’t ours. The food was excellent though. I just wished things weren’t right on top of one another. The food options were nice but most items on the prefixed menu had an additional fee of +$5 or +$7. So ultimately the prefixed menu was not the price as advertised. We each ordered the garden salad, filet, asparagus (+$5), au gratin potatoes (+$) and then received the small cheesecake not the normal size cheesecake they usually offer.

I go to Ruth’s Chris (in Waltham) every now and then, and the experience is always excellent. I usually get the filet, and they do a great job cooking it to what you ask. Have never had a bad meal here!

The food wasn't upto standard. I asked for medium bone in fillet and got a medium rare steak. My wife's fillet had a burnt taste to the exterior. The sides was mediocre to say the least. The service was good but the whole experience wasn't worth the $300 price tag. Long horn steakhouse would of been better quality. At half the price
