Once seated, had to ask manager who was our waiter, after waiting 20 minutes. The surrounding tables had been waiting on the waiter as well. Ordered food, food took forever to come out mediocre warm, but dealt with it. Went back to another manager regarding the sweet potatoe casserole, in which they just dumped brown sugar on top of it, manager agreed on site of it. Waiter wasn’t attentive, had to ask for items multiple times.

Or appetizer plates were dirty, it looked like it wasn’t washed. Both plates. One set of the knife’s were dirty too, like it wasn’t washed. The wine glasses had finger prints. Plates, knives and wine glasses were replaced however, one of the wine glass base had a caked on green something. It was our first time at the Long Beach restaurant and it was the last.

This was our first time trying Ruth Chris and we decided to celebrate Mothers Day. We made an early lunch time reservation and we really enjoyed the service. Was a good idea to come early as I felt the service was really one on one. The door was amazing as well as the dessert 😉. We will plan another special night out for sure at Ruth Chris.

Bathroom was dirty, with no hang towels. Service was poor and we didn’t receive multiple things we asked for. My chair was continuously being slammed into by waiters. We were seated 25 minutes after our reservation time. Shrimp cocktail was inedible after the order was already messed up. We were offered more Bread and never received it. Waiters didn’t speak much and communicated poorly. Wouldn’t come back.

Ruth Chris is an outstanding restaurant. Food and service were outstanding. We could even hear ourselves talk. This is unusual these days.

We celebrated my son's 30th birthday. The food was perfect, the service was great, and our waitress Ashley was the absolute best. Her energy was bright, engaging and she did great accommodating our large group.

Our bartender, I forgot her name. She was excellent and very attentive. Very impressed with the happy hour and loved that the nba playoff game was on at the bar … I live down the street now so I’ll be back all the time now!

Low key not a lot of traffic from the street a hidden gem love the vibe, the food the service, they really do cater to you. The only thing I don't really care for is that it opens at 4:00pm. Would love to have lunch sometimes instead of dinner.

I just learned this branch of the chain opened near my home. My wife and I came here for our anniversary, and we had a very nice time. The table was decorated. The service was great, very efficient. The location was lovely. The food was very good. It’s expensive, but it’s very high quality. It’s worth it.

Hubby and I celebrated my birthday during this visit and Celina made it an even better experience than we usually have, and that is hard to do as we always have an excellent time. She was personable and engaging and treated me like a Queen.

Two of us were there to celebrate my friends 85th birthday. Service was excellent. Food was good as usual. Atmosphere could have been better. They had two large groups seated in the same area as us. The noise level was a bit loud. Restaurant had an other section that was empty, why not seat the large groups in the empty area?

Yes, it was Grand Prix weekend and the restaurant was packed. The noise level was so high and it’s probably due to a lot of patrons that attended the Grand Prix and had been drinking. Majority were men with very loud voices. But when we had a reservation at 6:15 and immediately ordered a cocktail which was only a glass of wine and an old-fashioned. It took 35 minutes for the drinks to come. Server was as nice as could be, but when I went to the restroom and came back, I saw rows and rows of drinks sitting on the counter of the bar. Probably 15 drinks were sitting there waiting for servers to pick them up. my server kept telling me it was the bar was backed up food was great but I’ll go to RC Irvine or Anaheim next time.

There was a massive fight that broke out at the restaurant right next to our table. Plates broke and glass was thrown right next to us. No one came to apologize for the issue.

Phenomenal wine dinner with delicious food and wine. The pairings were amazing and were very appropriate for the food. Lucy and the staff were outstanding and made the night special. We look forward to the next event in July. Ruth’s has become our go to restaurant for a delicious steak dinner.

My husband and I had a great time celebrating his 35th birthday. Thank you Ruth’s Chris for such an amazing experience not to mention our server, Ashley she was the best. Thank you to the kind and amazing staff at Ruth’s Chris Long Beach. The food was so delicious and the birthday dessert. This was our first time to this location, we usually go to the one in Anaheim. But since this one is closer to our house we thought we’d try it out and it was amazing.

Amaaaaaazing!!!! Zoey was exceptional. His service was beyond one of the best. He made great suggestions, was polite, went over items on the menu and was so patient with letting us decide what we would want. Brianna was such a delight as well. We were seated timely. The staff made this much a great experience. The food was beyond delicious. My birthday celebration was sweet. The drinks were on point. The goat cheese artichoke dip, filet mignon, shrimp, steak (can’t remember which my hubby got) Oscar style, and omgopoodness the crème brûlée were all such a yummy yummy in our tummies. Thank you all for being amazing

We were warmly greeted and our table was ready in just a few minutes. We were celebrating an anniversary, and were surprised to see the table sprinkled with hearts and a card for us. The server, Haley was absolutely delightful. She took great care of us, with no hint of rushing us at all. She was generous, helpful, and gracious. Our food was absolutely delicious. She took care of our leftovers for us, too. We did not feel like we were in a “chain” restaurant at all. It was our 5th Ruth’s Chris restaurant location, and by far our favorite. Thank you to Haley, each of our table attendants, and to the manager for the service oriented culture he has created there.

Everything was great! From the host station to the bartender and server, excellent customer service! Great food and drinks. They even have a vegetarian dinner plate that was pretty awesome! The sweet potato side is phenomenal. Our server was so nice and knowledgeable (I forgot his name, unfortunately)…pretty pricey depending on what you get but we all left satisfied.

I sat in the bar area for happy hour and was greeted with great service. Dee was the server was very knowledgeable and explained the menu very well. She was able to give helpful suggestions and definitely enhanced my dining experience. I’m looking forward to returning to this restaurant for another wonderful experience.
