We had an AMAZING dining experience last night at Ruthie's. We began with a caesar salad -- so fresh, beautifully dressed with anchovies and plenty of shaved parmesan. I had the prime rib, perfectly cooked medium rare, and my dining companion had the beef medallions with shrimp, again, perfectly cooked and presented. It was my dining companion's birthday and they presented her with the most luscious chocolate cake I think I ever had! The whole meal was perfectly served to us by our waitress, Lala -- a pure delight, someone who truly seemed to love her job, giving us the assurance her greatest wish was to make sure our evening was the most delightful ever! And it was!

Restaurant had many great qualities of a fantastic restaurant except for the food. I found the salad, entree and sides to be very mediocre for a fine dining experience. Our server, James was great. The lighting and temperature were perfect. It was quiet restaurant even with many full tables. I just felt like for the price, I expected more from from my meal.

Our server, Gracie, did an outstanding job!! She was attentive to our needs and such a good representative for Ruthie's. We have ate at this restaurant for 9 years and always on our anniversary. Gracie brought us an excellent chocolate cake to celebrate our anniversary! The food was delicious and we will be back.

It was our first time dining there and we were impressed with all aspects of the experience: outstanding food and drinks, friendly and courteous service, attractive and comfortable setting.

Evan toon excellent care of us and was kind enough to take a photo of my wife and I for our 15 year wedding anniversary celebration. The food was excellent the atmosphere was wonderful. Great job by everyone at Ruthie’s!

My husband and I celebrating our anniversary and his birthday, so we wanted to go somewhere special. We have been to Ruthie's before and aways had a wonderful experience. The wait staff was great. There was a table next to ours with four gentlemen who used very foul language while we were dinning. They dropped the MF and F bomb the entire time they were at the table. It really took away from our celebration because it was constant foul language. Our steaks had a good flavor, but the food came almost room temperature. The butter didn't melt well on the baked potatoe because it was not hot enough. My steak was ordered medium and it was slightly over done. My husband's steak was cooked correctly.

This was my wife and I’s 2nd wedding anniversary and since I had left that in my reservation notes, they were super nice and wished us a happy anniversary and also brought dessert on them after our meal. What really irks us about this latest experience is the food. My wife had a 6oz filet, I had the 10oz - we both ordered them “medium” and what we got was surprising for a place like Ruthie’s…they could not have been more “well done” I make hamburgers at home more tender and pink than what I was served. Evan the waiter and Rod/Rob the manager were so kind I just didn’t have the heart to tell them to take it back. I ate it but very displeased with that the chef put out that evening. Might try again in the future…may just stick to Steventon’s, Monarch, or Duck City from now on.

We love going to Ruthie's anytime we are in Davenport. Great service. The steaks are always cooked perfectly to our preference. Amber is our favorite as she always brings her best to the job. Alex making the best pomegranate martini!
