Everything about Ruthies was incredible. Gracie our server was knowledgeable on everything that was put on the table. The manager (I didn't get his name ) was also helpful as well. The food was phenomenal. My girlfriend had the 10oz sirloin and I had the pork porterhouse everything was seasoned to perfection and absolutely delicious.

My husband Steak was perfect and I had Sea Bass and shared a wedge salad so good . Our waitress Gracie was friendly and great recording on wedge salad. Thank you it was perfect.

Lovely dinner date with my husband. Ginger was an excellent server and made sure our experience was exceptional. The food was unique and delicious-the chef has made some traditional favorites his own and enhanced our enjoyment by making it an adventure in new things. Filet was perfect in the French Onion soup pairing, melt in your mouth! I don’t think I’ve enjoyed a baked potato that much in years-lavish amount of butter made it better! Will return again-definitely worth the short drive from Iowa City to have top notch food.

We have never been to Ruthies, so we decided to celebrate our Anniversary there this year and made reservations.We expected it to be slow and it was for a Tuesday at 5. We were seated immediately and our waiter, Andy was wonderful. The Drink was served immediately after we ordered it, and our dinner order was next. Delicious bread was served. We both got a steak and a baked potato. We’re older and just can’t eat several courses any more. Our food arrived and Andy asked us to check the doneness on our steaks, they were acceptable. I like my steak medium, ordered medium done and it was medium rare. My husband also ordered medium well, and his was actually a medium. Acceptable. Not perfect. At $57.14/lb for ribeye steak it should have been perfect! I noticed immediately that things were odd. My husbands baked potato was severed completely in half, I’ve never seen a baked potato served that way, usually it’s sliced partially thru the center, then opened like a pocket. Nope, two ROCK HARD COLD halves lying on the plate. I could tell from across the table it wasn’t cooked, it looked raw! Some one had sliced into my potato, about 1/3 the length, all the way thru the other side, again, I have never seen a baked potato served this way. Mine was so undercooked that I could barely cut in to it! The butter wouldn’t even melt! We were Sooooo disappointed. We won’t go there again, it’s sad that such a nice looking place was so bad.

Whenever I visit family I always enjoy dining at the best steakhouse in the area. I prefer upscale dining when going out for a steak and Ruthie's has always delivered a great experience. The attention by our wait person Ginger was superb and we'll be booking her table again! For the food, my mother and I had the filet and ribeye, which were prepared to perfection and the shareable sides were more of the same, but too much! We are already talking about our next visit.

From the moment we walked in the hostess was very nice and our server Andy was just terrific👍. The ambience Is quiet and subdued, just how we like it. I can’t say enough about the lobster bisque and the baked French onion just phenomenal. My wife had the fillet, and I had the ribeye which both were cooked to perfection.(delicious)Ruthie’s Is on my list as one of my favorites, and it should be on yours as well. Kudos to the staff, 5 stars.

Arrived early we were seated right away. A little table just outside of the kitchen between two sets of French doors to a private room. My wife was continually hit in the back by the doors as staff and diners were continually going in and out. Very rushed not a relaxing atmosphere. I have been to them all Capital Grill, Ruth Chris, Flemmings, Mortons, Dinka's this wasn't even close. Ordered a Filet with Oscar add-on, brought steak no $18 Oscar waiter says he'll check. About a 1/3 through my steak waiter comes by I tell him forget the Oscar he says oh no its almost done. So half way through my steak which I'm not enjoying because it's getting cold waiting for them to fix the mistake, he brings a cup with crab in it here you go and I have to dump it on myself. Didn't even offer a free coffee for the wait. I went for early Valentines Day and wife's Birthday. Never again we were in and out in an hour (they should put in a drive through). I had better more relaxing meals at everyday chain steak houses for a 1/3 the price. Defiantly a Huge disappointment wish I would have went to 801 Chop House as originally planned!

The food was surprisingly average. Presentation was a 90’s throwback. The staff doesn’t understand presenting and pouring wine. There was also no follow up to ensure wine glasses were appropriately filled. The decor was woefully outdated. Not really worth the price of admission.

Ah, Ruthie's in Riverside, where the service shines as bright as the smiles on Paige and Faith! They made my wife's eight first birthday quite the experience. It's always a treat when you walk into a place expecting good service and they go above and beyond. Those unexpected little touches can really make a meal memorable. I should say the food was also excellent. We have dined at Ruthie's several time and have not been disappointed. I just wish our luck would have been better at the Casino!

The food was excellent. The service was the issue. Our server was new and also the manager was new. We did express our concerns but time will tell if the service improves. We will go back but not too soon.

Back again! Still delicious food and still excellent service! My friends loved the drink specials and the change to the creme brulee. I was there for the steak and bread which was cooked to perfection as usual.

Ruthies was amazing! The chefs recommendation was spectacular 👌 Presentation was exquisite and taste was magnificent!!! Our waiter was kind friendly snd so helpful Great place !!

The food is outstanding! I had the lamb's special and my husband had the sirloin! Delicious and enough for 4! The service is quick, friendly, efficient! The Manager came to greet us and check on us with such kindness and genuineness.

Celebrated my dad's birthday. It was a great choice as he loved his steak dinner and being able to share his evening with family and friends in such a nice location.

Everything was perfect for my birthday dinner! The waitress was bubbly and funny as she served us attentively. She brought more drinks without having to be asked. The food was even better than I remembered, too. And when she brought out my dessert, the plate was decorated with happy birthday. Good atmosphere back semi-secluded in the back room. Perfect evening. Thanks!

Ordered 2 lobster dishes and disappointed with both dishes. Wanted a broiled lobster with butter. Received lobster with breadcrumbs with first dish. It was over baked and tasted bitter. It was set on top of mashed potatoes!. The butter was not pure butter and a brownish substitute. The stuffed lobster dish was good but overpowered by the stuffing and cheese.

While the food was good, it did not match the prices. While the atmosphere was nice and the service was great, pricing was not in line with the quality of food.

My husband and I dined with our 25 year-old son. We were seated promptly and our server, Kaytlyn, was attentive and friendly. She was knowledgeable about items on both the food and drink menus. Our meals, (prime rib, New York Strip and the Cornish Hen December special), were very appealing in appearance as well as flavor, as expected from prior visits.

They do not change their menus . Meat is either undercooked or over. Quality seems to be getting worse each time we go.
