Rustic Kitchen has been serving the local Mar Vista community and surrounding cities for over eight years now! We are a family owned restaurant, sourcing local ingredients and serving up quality dishes that reflect our southern California heritage as well as our family’s Italian roots. Chef Noelle likes to focus on quality ingredients and straightforward preparations. Customer favorites include steak frites, Branzino, chicken pot pie, pan roasted salmon, BBQ pork chop and our super popular RK burger. The wine list is second to none having been recognized by Wine Spectator magazine with their level two Best of Award of Excellence (2-glass) for 5 years in a row. We offer over 60 wines by the glass, flights and more. RK is here to make your wine journey fun and educational. This place is indeed a neighborhood gem and I am so glad that I went there! The restaurant itself is unpretentious but nice in appearance. The inside of the restaurant is tastefully decorated, and clean. The atmosphere is relaxing. The food is well-prepared, fresh, and delicious. The staff was courteous and very attentive. The wine list is quite extensive and the staff is knowledgeable regarding wine/food pairings. While the food is not low cost, it is certainly not out of line with the high quality of the food offering and, in my opinion, priced very fairly. The noise level is low and you can have a nice conversation and actually hear what people are saying. This is a new go-to restaurant for my wife and me.

This really is a neighbourhood gem! The Food was delicious, and even though they were a little understaffed, our food was brought to the table hot and it was nice to have a relaxed, leisurely dinner. We are going back to try more things on the menu and some of the decadent desert!

Excellent presentation and very good service. Corkage based on number of people drinking is different. $15 per person and not per bottle. Menu Prices are moderate. Huge wine list. Food tastes are very very good. Nice size portions and excellent taste.

This neighborhood restaurant is always a treat. The wine selection is great and the food delicious. Our server was helpful and friendly. John, the owner greats the customers personally and really knows wine. Love this place.

Super cool ambiance with gentle music and friendly staff. Food was prepared exquisite and was totally delicious! Fantastic wine options bottle or by the glass. A must if you need a nice quaint evening out. They go the distance in their menu options and seasonal specials. The cherry glazed pork chop was to die for!!! The lobster brioche roll was equally fantastic. I highly recommend. A close place for locals and if you happen to want to find that next hidden gem.

Came here with friends for my birthday. The wine list is what first attracted me. Everyone in my party raved about the food and the wine selection. This place is defiantly a hidden gem. The services was great and our server very friendly and accommodating. I’ll be back
