Beautiful establishment. Wonderfully designed. Modern and interesting, but homey and comfortable coming in from the cold. Food wasn’t amazing, but it was good. Service was excellent. The girls are super on it and very sweet. Seemed like a great place to be a regular.

We had a very good time at the Rustic Goat and glad that we had a reservation as they were very busy. A few minutes wait for our table but were seated in the area that we requested which was nice. Service was friendly and prompt. We both had the scallops for dinner and they were delicious.

Always enjoy the Goat. Service is always very friendly and prompt. They change up their menu which I appreciate. Had the lamb shank special and it was delicious. My wife had the mussels appetizer. Very flavorful.

Just a suggestion for parking. Put a sign on the front door mentioning which parking lots are acceptable. Put a sign across the street for overflow parking. Not that hard to do!

Halibut special was way overdone and instead of making it right, or offering to make it right by taking it off the bill they brought us another one that was equally poorly done and only half the size. we said we did not want a second one, but they brought one anyway

The food was outstanding, but the seating was horrible. Small table, no tablecloths, very noisy from the downstairs, and I had a reservation, yet I was seated near a high traffic area near the waitress service station and the stairs. Very uncomfortable. The food, the service, and professionalism, deserves a much better place to provide meals for the patrons... OH and Parking was awful. Maybe my critique is why it is called Rustic.

My husband and I spent our 14th Anniversary dinner at this amazing place. It was our first time too! They personalized our menus with our names and reason for celebration. We absolutely loved our experience and will dine here again (:

Rustic Goat was an excellent experience. The food was delicious, the local beer list was nicely put together, and the staff were so warm and welcoming. My husband and I shared the Caeser salad, scallops, airline chicken, and tiramisu and all of this filled us to the brim and left us with happy tummies. It was my birthday dinner and the staff all made me feel special as well. Would highly recommend this place for dinner.

The view, the aesthetic, the food, the drinks, the staff, everything is fantastic at this place! Ive been here 4 times so far and each time ive accidentally stayed till they closed because its so easy to be comfortable and lose track of time.

Had an amazing dinner. Had so much food that we both couldn't finish our meals. Have the crab dip, which was so tasty, the pita bread was so soft and some parts crunchy. The dip itself was so good that wr demolished it in minutes. I had the hamburger of the day, and he had stroganoff. Both were so delightful. Will definitely go again.

I booked online so that made the arrival experience very peaceful. After arriving we were taking upstairs and served quickly. I was very happy with the service, food, and would totally go back again.

I've had burgers all over Anchorage and seriously, Rustic Goat has THE best burgers in town, and their fries that come with it are off the charts delicious; crispy, salty goodness! There was something on the burger that I wasn't allowed to eat due to digestive issues, and the chef was decent enough to accommodate me; oh my goodness, was it so good!! Since it was my birthday, they even gave me a slice of carrot cake to bring home. Needless to say, it was the best carrot cake I've ever had; moist with just the right amount of spices and the cream cheese filling was soooo yummy! It was creamy, and I think it may have had a hint of cinnamon in it. Honestly, I need to go back to Rustic Goat whenever I'm craving a burger, because it was THAT GOOD, folks! (the staff is AWESOME, too!)

I really wanted to love this place and have been looking forward to dining here for months. Unfortunately 2/3 dishes came out cold, we sent back the crab dip appetizer because of its temperature making the dish undesirable and we’re disappointed that one of our mains was cold as well when we’re spending $45 on it. Though everything looked very fun and creative I think they need to focus more on the taste and temperature. Unless things we probably won’t be coming back:/

Service from staff who love what they do makes this a special expo. Good very good and always changing the menu. Jam & Frazier have created something special. Love the architectural design

We had reservations and arrived a little early; we were seated immediately. Our table was upstairs along the railing above the bar seating area and next to the servers’ station. Between the noise from below and the clatter of dishes in the server station we were sitting in perhaps the noisiest spot in the restaurant. Our server was good: efficient and friendly. The selection of draft beers and wine was good. We were expecting an enjoyable, failry quiet dinner but this is not the place for that. The food was OK, but nothing special We ordered the Tiramisu based on the description in the menu. What arrived was a plastic tub of mainly whipped cream with little evidence of the brandy soaked lady fingers mentioned in the menu. It’s a beautiful restaurant with a reputation that, to us, seems undeserved. We won’t be back. Perhaps dining earlier in the evening would be a little quieter.

Our waiter Adam was great! Adam was super tentative and gave very fast service. Our table was ready as soon as we walked through the door. And the place was warm and cozy.

Overall, our experience was ok. Our server, Jolie, was very attentive. The food wasn’t what we expected but that’s what happens when you try new restaurants! Still recommend visitors to the town to try Rustic Goat. :)
