Ambiance was great - like a traditional Russian setting Service was impeccable - our waiter was very knowledgeable regarding the dishes and his recommendations. The food was amazing - we had the pelmeni appetizer and it was out of this world. The chicken a la Kiev and the duck were superb!!! We will be coming back

We arrived for afternoon tea at 11:30am and were seated quickly at a nice booth table overlooking the rest of the room. The beautiful, historic dining room really brings you back in time. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. He seemed to have been there for quite awhile. Even though this is certainly not the fanciest afternoon tea in the city, the food is good and the ambience can hardly be beat.

We had a wonderful experience having afternoon tea at the Russian Tea Room yesterday! Both the tea and food was absolutely, decadently delicious. The ambience was also incredible— we felt like we were on the set of a Wes Anderson film!

A very pleasant experience very expensive. Good could have had more sauce added to both our dishes. Service could have been more attentive.

If you’ve never been to the Russian tea room, it is really a must visit when you go to New York City. Our server, ELIZABETH, was so attentive and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The food was very good and the ambience is just spectacular. Highly recommend.

We have been dining at RTR for decades. It never disappoints. The dining room is still gorgeous full of Russian artwork. Elizabeth, our server, was on point and friendly as were the entire staff. We had traditional blinis, caviar, Krug champagne along with several types of herring and black bread. All delicious if not princely. We look forward to returning when next in the city.

This was a Mothers Day gift from my husband. He treated me and our daughter to a ladies day out. The Russian Tea Room is a very special place for celebrations. We, of course had to order the Afternoon Tea and Beef Stroganoff. So elegantly prepared and delicious. The service was exceptional. We have not been here before but will come again to this very historic and iconic restarant.

It was FANTASTIC! I can’t wait to get back to NYC!!!!! I definitely my favourite restaurant in the city!!! Loved loved loved it!
