Depuis plus de 85 ans, le Russian Tea Room accueille les moments culturels déterminants de New York. A wonderful dining experience! The restaurant is beautiful. The staff attentive and professional, and the food was amazing! Definitely worth the visit when in NYC!

This is such a NY institution that younger people don’t really know about. I took my 20/30 year old children and 4 and 7 year old granddaughters and they were blown away. The service, food and opulent surroundings are at the highest level, all so enjoyable. I highly recommend it. We’re coming back for th 109th anniversary in 2 years if not before!

We were seated comfortably in a booth, had its table filled out for us to more easily enter. Our waiter made wonderful suggestions and we tried some of the suggestions he made. We were not disappointed.

This is a place for tea - says it in the name but we had lunch so a real test of the chef. The borscht was lovely, especially the broth and the other diners thought their starters were fine. But my mushroom stroganoff was with noodles/spaghetti and was flabby so not that good to eat. The others thought their salmon en croute (or whatever they call it) was fine. The cheesecake was dense but the chocolate volcano was moist and erupted when cut so a real win. Overall it was a good place to have visited but I suspect I will delay my next visit for a while.

We had so much fun. We were there kind of late for dinner but the staff was so welcoming and our server was outstanding!

The staff was fun and the service great! Drinks were incredibly expensive and some of the smallest martinis we have ever seen, they didn’t even serve the dirty ice The dumplings were superior, but the rest of the food tasted like it had been prepared, frozen reheated and served. We had a great time, but probably would not go back I assume you don’t wanna sit every time I get in between you

First trip to NYC, booked the Russian Tea Room because of its history and because it touts itself as being "an unforgettable experience". All the sandwiches and cupcakes were stale and unimpressive. The scones were the only edible thing. The 'salads' were terrible with the exception of the beets. The 0 alcohol white sparkling tasted terrible and the rose wasn't much better. The service was good and one could see they were really trying. Unfortunately, the waiter who pulled out our table when I needed to use the rest room ended up spilling my drink all over me and the bench. The glass broke. He was very nice and apologetic but nonetheless I had to walk around for the next 45 minutes while my pants dried. You use tea bags! No depth of flavour...I could have had that at home. The room is beautiful but not worth the amount of money I paid for my cousin and I. $145 pp for stale food which was minimal to say the least (and I'm not a big eater) poor quality tea and spirits...really sorry that we came and I'd actually like my money back. Would not recommend ever. Sorry you need to step up your game. There was no life in the building while we were there, almost felt like a library or a funeral...not a place to enjoy oneself in any way.

The ambiance, service and historical feel were wonderful. The Borsht and Stroganoff were great. The Chicken Kiev was disappointing.
