Food is always excellent and the wait staff is always pleasant. Have been there several times and Russell is always present and checking on customers.

Lovely experience for Mother's Day dinner. Food was above excellent. Service was outstanding. Everyone was polite and courteous. Russell's never disappoints. If you want to know how the other half lives, this is the place. Thank you for an outstanding job, and evening.

We went there to Celebrate the Hat Trick of celebrations. I thought of no other place for this than Russel’s and The Salvatore Grand Hotel. Everything was perfect. At dinner The food, the service, the ambiance. The stay at Salvatore’s Grand Hotel was beyond expectations. And it was a true honor to shake Russell’s hand this morning when I saw him after we finished breakfast and I look forward to many memories from here. No one puts in the work and care they do. From straightening the lamp shade to meeting your guests at the host station, you make the experience. Buffalo needs more service like this. My hats off to him and his staff……Ben Fatto 🇮🇹

Our waiter Nathan was fantastic in every way. It’s always a good feeling to see Russell welcoming us as we walk in. A real hands on guy! I’m sure the restaurant is the go to celebration place that everyone looks forward to. It’s ours!

Best steak I have had in years. Eric was exceptional. I am not sure if I answered the noise level correctly. The noise was very low.

The service was very good. Andy was very professional and accommodating. The food was outstanding and cooked to perfection. And the dessert was just as delicious. It was all well worth the price!

Our total experience from walking in and being greeted by Russell to our final cup of the most delicious coffee was perfect. Special thank you to our server Nathan for a great birthday dinner experience. I can’t stop thinking, “How do they make these steaks soooo delicious”. I can’t think of one thing that could have made our dinner better. Treat yourself to the best restaurant in Buffalo New York and enjoy!!! A++++++++

Our table was in a quiet corner, we liked that very much. Service was timely. Food was excellent. Meal was prepared as to our request. Our server, John was very pleasant, informative and shared a bit of "short" conversation. He did not neglect his other tables. As good a server John was, we missed seeing Maria. Say "HI" to her for us. We will be back soon!

The waiter, Gary, was personable, organized and professional. Customer satisfaction was his priority. The food was excellent, cooked to perfection and the presentation was perfect. I recommend the 16oz. Pork Chop. Outstanding.

Good food and service. A little pricey. Charged an extra $6 for loaded baked potato. Wasn’t worth it and had I known there was an upcharge I would have stuck with the regular baked potato.

Outstanding food and outstanding service. When they say be our guest and we will do the rest, they mean it and having the owner on-site and directly involved just makes it that much more awesome. Can't wait to go back and do another overnight package with dinner.

Went for a birthday celebration. The waiter brought over our cake we ordered with a sparkler. It was a nice touch. Steaks were done to perfection. Great stop for a celebration. Very expensive but was worth it.

Russell's was fantastic. I had a porterhouse steak that was spot on. My wife and I were there for our anniversary. They had a nice ambiance and great service. We'll be back again.

Pricey but very worth it. We went when there was a large party seated right next to us. The waiter made sure we were taken care of even though he had a much larger group to deal with and the food took a little bit longer than we expected but that was understandable and well worth the wait. We order the dinner for 2. Steak Ala Russell was delicious and my pork chop was amazing and very good size

Exceptional!!!! Everything, from the food, drinks, how great the staff was to the presentation. The food was completely delicious, freshly made, and just words can't describe it. The service is top notch and the staff go above and beyond! Highly recommend coming here!!

I took my wife here for her birthday. This place did not disappoint. Russ is front and center welcoming you. We had reservations and we were seated right away. We ordered appetizers, salads, entrees and dessert. The timing of all courses was impeccable. Our glasses were never empty and the server(s) were polite and attentive, without being over the top. We both ordered the filet mignon and it was the best filet we have had. The prices were very reasonable for what is included and the quality of the food. We will definitely be returning and look forward to our next visit.
