Rumi's Kitchen first opened more than a decade ago in Atlanta, the result of years of development by Chef / Owner Ali Mesghali. Showcasing the flavors of Iran -- fresh herbs, kabobs cooked over an open-fire grill -- quickly won loyal guests at the original location in Sandy Springs, GA and set us on pace to open our first restaurant outside of Georgia in 2020. Rumi was a 13th-century Persian poet whose words and life teach us how to find inner peace, happiness and love. We invite you to Rumi’s Kitchen where fresh, healthy food and attentive Persian hospitality await you.

The overall experience was decent. The food was good and the waiter was amazing. Also, they gave us free dessert since we were celebrating our anniversary there. However it was extremely noisy and really dark inside. Also, a little over priced

The restaurant was pretty busy but not loud, the staff were busy but attentive, the drinks and food while a little pricey, were great so you didn’t feel bad about spending the money. Overall thoroughly enjoyed it and will come back.

Fantastic food, great choice, excellent service (our server Kasey was outstanding - kept a hawk eye on what we needed and when), great ambience and vibe. The only single negative, which should be easy to fix, is that the chairs are not comfortable - too low and cushions have died.

Always a stop for me in DC, wish I had one in FL. Food is consistent, well prepared and authentic. Staff is unreal, true professionals, impressive across the board.

Rumi’s was hopping and completely booked on a Tuesday night. Our waitress was wonderful and food was delicious -especially the seabass. Restaurant is very noisy though but guess that is to be expected with a full restaurant and so many large groups celebrating birthdays, engagements, etc. Our only real complaint is our original 8pm reservation for 4 was seated at a table for 8 that we promptly left to wait for a more appropriately sized table and that didn’t happen until 8:30. Kudos to the manager who apologized and offered extra appetizers. We will be back!

Always a wonderful meal every time we come back to Rumi. Food is always outstanding, but so is the service. This time, our server Richard went above and beyond. His knowledge of the menu, cocktails, and ability to tailor recommendations to our diverse group was very welcome. Can’t wait for next time.
