Chef Ali Mesghali’s love of cooking began while growing up in Esfahan, Iran and Los Angeles, California. This interest grew to become a passion and a career after Ali moved to Atlanta, Georgia. In the kitchen, as well as in the dining room, Ali is known for his pursuit of perfection, his intensity and a love for what he does. our server, Jordan, who waited on us is a true gem. Always with a friendly smile, he would anticipate our needs and be ready always. I would ask for him on my next visit

This is some of the best food my fiance and I have ever had. Khalid, our waiter, was incredibly kind and knowledgeable about the menu. I got the lamb skewers and my fiance got the lemon chicken skewers. They were both phenomenal!!

We went to this Rumi's a few months ago and it was a so-so experience. This past weekend we went again, and I am glad to say it was back to the Rumi's we have always loved! The food was delicious and our server could not have been more attentive. We tried the falafel for the first time, it was so fresh and wonderful. My only complaint about Rumi's is the noise level. Concrete floods reverberate sound. When the place is busy and everyone is talking, hearing boom, boom, boom as the background music can be noise overload. People were literally talking louder than normal, almost yelling, to be heard by someone across the table. Maybe some Persian rugs and better music choices? The restaurant has a natural energetic vibe.

The waitress at colony square was amazing. She was thorough ,kind and had great suggestions and knowledge of the entire menu.

The front room was soooo loud. More sound dampening is needed. We couldn’t even hear each other. Love the food, the ambiance, and the service- always a treat to go to Rumi’s.

Always a great experience. The food was delicious! Oh thise corn ribs and crispy potatoes! Yum! Jalen our server continues to provide exemplary service, his knowledge and professionalism keeps us coming back, as we celebrated a birthday this time! Thanks again Rumi for a beautifully memorable evening!
