Chef Ali Mesghali"s nearly lifelong love of cooking combined with his love for Sufism brought to life for the first time in Atlanta's culinary scene the concept of Rumi's Kitchen in 2005.
At Rumi's Kitchen, Ali has been able to artfully bring together an atmosphere full of joyous energy with attentive and generous Persian hospitality along with the unforgettable unique aromas and flavors of the Persian cuisine which is truly reflective of his simple intention to bring joy and happiness to the overall dining experience of the guests. Every member of the team at Rumi's Kitchen strives in delivering the service that is demanded by such a unique intention and vision.
While Rumi's Kitchen is a Persian restaurant at its core, the menu is constantly supplemented by dishes pulling influences from other countries, keeping the cuisine at the forefront of the dining scene in Atlanta.

    On a lark, I took my wife out for a birthday dinner…and instead of driving, hopped on a plane from Miami. And our final destination? Rumi’s Kitchen in Avalon, Alpharetta, GA where we feasted on delightful Persian cuisine, a memorable first for my wife. On the menu: Lamb Hummusiya, Mirza Ghasemi (smoked eggplant, tomato & garlic), Chicken Barg (saffron marinated chicken breast), Koobideh Kabob (house ground chuck with grated onion), saffron basmati rice paired with a Ixsir Grande Reserve, a 2014 Syrah/Cab blend from Lebanon. This turned out to be a top shelf surprise for my wife! Our server Alejandro was beyond exceptional and extremely knowledgeable. Thank you Rumi’s!

    Amazing food, great staff, service was exceptional! I’m still thinking about the meals from last night! The labne was the perfect appetizer paired with the lamb kabobs and Chinjeh Lubia Polo!

    Server had a lot of tables outside and was Fantastic. However, when weaseled another server for just another glass for tea he forgot about our request and never returned nor did the tea glass. Food is fantastic always too but would like to see Vegetarian stew at this location as well as have chocolate ice cream with cream on this menu. We keep asking but yet to switch over!
