Welcome to Rumi's Kitchen - Sandy Springs! The premier Sandy Springs location for Persian Cuisine. Owner and Head Chef Ali Mesghali’s unique and flavorful touch has been wowing patrons for over 20 years. His previous restaurant, Persepolis, was a Sandy Springs favorite.

Rumi’s Kitchen - Sandy Springs draws influence from the culinary mother of the Middle East, Persia, which spanned from the banks of the Nile River in the west to the mountains of Northern India in the east, and from the shores of the Caspian Sea in the north to the deserts of Arabia in the south of the Persian Gulf.

This was my first time at this location, but Rumi’s never disappoints!! The service was amazing! I love this restaurant !!! I was a little surprise that it’s valet parking only. I wasn’t prepared for that, but it wasn’t bad at all!

Went to Rumi’s for Mother’s Day it was super busy but they handled it spectacularly. The food was amazing! The service outstanding our waiter was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. We would highly recommend Rumi’s for any special occasion or a really nice date night.

Loved being back at Rubi's Kitchen, but Mother's Day was probably the wrong time to take my wife there. Too crowded, too noisy and parking turnover was madness. However, the staff was great and did wonders handling the crowd and us. We'll be back, but on some weekday when it's not so crowded. Oh, and the food was wonderful!

Please stop overbooking for Mother’s Day. We realize that it’s a great restaurant with great food, but you’re gonna have to keep the numbers lower so people are not standing around waiting an hour with the reservation.

This was a Mother’s Day reservation and the restaurant was 45 minutes behind. The waiting area was very crowded but once I was seated with my party, the experience was great! Our server, Dee was patient and informative. The food came out quickly, in reference to the number of patrons that were in the restaurant.

I had a reservation and still had to wait 45 minutes. I would not go to this restaurant on a holiday like Mother's Day again. Instead of texting when your table was ready, they had very soft spoken girls walking back and forth saying the party's name.

Rumi’s never disappoints in taste, quality and service. Recently went for Mother’s Day and while it was EXTREMELY busy, the staff managed it quite well. Especially grateful to our server Kiera who was so gracious and accommodating and overall amazing. Our party was celebrating a birthday in addition to Mother’s Day, and she made us feel special.

They were horribly overbooked, 40min to sit with a reservation, kitchen was backed up, food was cold, they were out of food before 2pm, people were standing for an hour waiting to be seated. They tried to compensate with free appetizers. Forgot part of our order. The quality and service has decreased in the last year. This was our yearly mother's day lunch spot. Made reservations a month in advance and we were on time.

Excellent service from the organization of the valet to the clean and well stocked restrooms! There was no lag time once we got to our table. Neema, our server greeted us promptly and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Our drinks and appetizers came out right away and the main courses followed at the perfect time. We never felt rushed in spite of the extreme crowd; only welcome and appreciated. The food was served at the perfect temperature and presentation and was so very delicious! This wad by far the best restaurant experience I’ve had in a long time!

we went on mother’s day, and it was extremely busy. the reservations were all running about 30 minutes behind, but it was a busy holiday so it was understandable! despite how busy and chaotic it was, the service was still very good, and food was good, props to the entire rumis team and our server!

This was our first time to the Sandy Springs location. We go to the Avalon location a lot. Food was the same (amazing always) but the ambience totally different. It was PACKED for Mothers Day and our reservation wasn’t ready for 30 mins so we waited at the bar having amazing but super expensive mimosas until it was ready. The staff at the bar and our table was incredible. Very attentive on a super busy day and always with a smile. We will definitely be back. The lamb hummus is unreal and the corn ribs were really good too. We then got the shish kabob, veggie kabob and chicken kabob. Everything was fantastic.

This past visit, we had the best server we've ever had, and we've dined at this location at least twenty (20) times in the last couple of years. With most Persian restaurants, you'll get either decent food or decent service, seldom both! In all of our visits to Rumi's, the in-person dining has been fine; I ordered to-go once and swore never again. Because they're so busy, it always feels like chaos. Really glad we made the reservation for 11:30 because, by 12-12:30, the line was outside! One of our favorite restaurants in town, and we highly recommend it. I wish the location was bigger, had more parking, etc.

We had amazing service and an amazing meals and receded in a location that we had requested specifically with a booth. We had an amazing server named Summer and she provided the most quality service that I have ever received at a restaurant.

My family’s Mother’s Day lunch at Rumi’s was excellent. It was their first time dining at Rumi’s. They enjoyed, the food and entire experience. We were seated away from the main crowd so the noise level from other patrons did not impact us. Our waitress Kiera was extremely accommodating which made our experience delightful.

We tried 6 appetizers and two entrees. The variety of fresh flavors, savory flavors, sweet flavors, char flavors was outstanding! Food is exciting at Rumi as well as delicious. We had lamb kabobs and shrimp kabobs, each with accompanying rices. The rice with each of those dishes was awesome and my personal favorite was the basmati with orange zest and pistachio. This was my second visit to Rumi's Kitchen and just as satisfying as the first. The service is impeccable. Yes, it is a bit pricey but worth every dollar. My next visit we plan to get all the appetizers left on the menu that we didn't try this time, with a few repeats because they are so new and delicious to our palate and we couldn't eat them all on one visit.

Always excellent food and service. We asked for a quieter table sine mo mom is hard of hearing and noise level was too high and the manager made sure of that sittings is in their private covered patio. Food is always excellent.

Rumi's is a terrific experience. It's popular and hopping, the food is fantastic and our server was attentive and knowledgeable . We highly recommend Rumi's to anyone and everyone.

Crystal was a fantastic server. We get the same things every time: hummus for the appetizer and chicken barg for the entree. The corn ribs appetizer is also THE BEST. Definitely get baklava for dessert!

Rumi’s has become our “go to” restaurant! Our meal last night was so good. We ordered the shrimp kabobs and barg kabobs and split amongst the three of us w/a bottle of wine. Our server, Ali, was wonderful. Manny is the general manager and he is doing a wonderful job! He was greeting customers as they came in and out. We’ll be back!

We had an excellent dinner. Hood service and very good food. The Dolmeh were very tasty. The chilean sea bass is the best of Atlanta. The size, the flavor is out of this world.

It was too noisy. The restaurant was packed, people talked extremely high and the music was also extremely high. We were with friends and we could hear each other. It was not a relaxing experience as we usually experiment. Very disappointing.

Visited on a weeknight. It was very loud. The food was good. Some dishes were better than others. Rack of lamb was excellent. Chicken kabob was average. Desserts were very good. I felt it was overpriced. Not a good value, but still a quality dining experience. Our server was excellent.
