It was my 70th birthday and I wanted something special. Delicious food, reasonable pricing, able to meet my gluten free requirements and a relaxed, comfortable environment. The Celebration Banquet met and exceeded those expectations.

Third timing dining here. Such lovely owners and wait staff. Accommodated my friend's allergies and took great care of us. Fantastic food and lovely set menus if you want to taste a few things.

Amazing food and great service! We had the gluten free buffet which was so tasty and good portion size. Shared the white chocolate flourless cake for dessert and they put a sparkler in it for my friends birthday which was a nice touch. The cocktail bar next door is good too and handy to have happy hour just before dinner. Will definitely be coming back!

The food options were creative and interesting, although maybe a bit small. The waitress was friendly and efficient, and certainly deserves a pay increase!

As a family, eating out can be a challenge as we have 2 coeliacs, 2 with peanut allergies and one with some other legume allergies (I'm the only one with no allergies or intolerances other than just generally being a grumpy old curmudgeon!!), so Rubyos is brilliant in offering a lot of choice that suited all of these needs! The flavours were great, and the dishes being generally small share plate/tapas style servings, we were able to enjoy a great deal of variety in the course of the meals. They offer a range of banquets and degustation options, but we were happy to order from the a la carte menu. The staff were very helpful, and it was easy to add serves as there were 5 of us and the standard dishes generally come in serves of four. We were also on a tight timeframe, and they got the food out promptly so we weren't late in getting to the event we had after the meal. Can't wait to eat there again!

I booked Rubyos for my husbands birthday. Have been there before, but hadn't been back for a while. I'll be coming back more often. The food was exceptional for the price point. Service was excellent. Highly recommend it.

The perfect menu for couples to share multiple items from the menu. Loved the duck pancakes, poached chicken, and Atlantic salmon and the crushed chats were great.. the night out was great. Thanks Rubyos...

The food was lovely in quality, range of options and presentation as expected from previous visits. Also, nice to buy wine at reasonable prices. Maybe 2X bottle shop but certainly not 4X or 5X. Quite quiet at Friday lunch, other peoples loss. you can do much, much worse!

Greeted at the front door, seated , wine coolers in place with water jugs on the table.Advance ordering allowed the waitress to bring the 1st course in 5m. Well spaced courses . We only had to ask once to slow it down.

We went with two friends and had the vegan banquet for one and the seafood banquet for the other three. Food was absolutely delicious and there was plenty of it and plenty of variation. We were all really happy with the banquet choices. Would definitely go back there.

I am a regular diner at this gem of a restaurant. Badrul and his team provided a dining experience right up to their usual standard last night. The "Celebration Menu" option was perfect for the occasion and the introduction of the charred eggplant involtini to accompany the signature baked Atlantic salmon and decadent desert platter along with the rest of the superb menu was perfect. Despite the extensive wine list, we took up the BYO option on this occasion and the Tyrells Vat47 chardonnay was a perfect partner to the menu. We invited another couple to join us last night and Rubyo's is now on their "go to" dining list when they return to the City.

Outstanding food, Wonderful service... asked what time we needed to leave which enabled us to fully enjoy the food without having to worry about it being served in time for us to get to a movie.

Came here for a date night with my girlfriend. Food and service was great. I recommend buying 4-5 dishes between you two if you're big eaters. Would definitely come back, and be sure to check out the 1989 bar just across the road afterwards.

Had a client dinner at Rubyos with someone who came from overseas and it was the best choice I could have made. We both loved the food - so fresh and just a perfect blend of flavours in every dish. The ambiance was so relaxing and aesthetically pleasing. Am now a big fan. And the desserts we chose were as delicious as they were visual works of art. Highly recommend.
