Visited with family on Saturday night. The food was amazing as usual, service good but maybe a little slow between starters and main. Otherwise a great evening with the best food. Look forward to visiting again soon.

Lovely restaurant that was recommended to us, the service was excellent and there vibe was perfect for a couples night. The food and courses were tasty but a couple of dishes we had (out of 5) could have done with some more flavour. But overall, highly recommend

You can’t beat the Sunday Roast! The Beef is cooked to perfection! Accompanied by 3 side dishes, Red cabbage, leeks in white wine and cauliflower cheese! And a Huge Yorkshire! Service is always Fab , really comfortable and classy ambiance! 5 Star!

This was a high quality Sunday lunch (Easter Sunday) in a good establishment situated in the Essex Countryside. The service was very good and considerate. They even asked if we wanted any more food, but there was not really any more room on the plate. We will be returning in the near future.

Liked the option to make starters mains and vice versa. Food choice was good and the quality excellent so although it seemed expensive at first it was actually good value. Service was excellent and not rushed and we will definitely go again.

Service was good and friendly. Restaurant was empty which is never a good sign. We were one of only two tables. The food was so average, both starters and mains, that we thought we might have gone to the wrong place accidentally. The reviews online are almost unanimously good. Not our experience at all. Food was average to poor at best. Dined on a Sunday

We were really well looked after, loved the little touches and made my Mum’s night when they brought her dessert with a little birthday candle. Food was lovely, service was fabulous! Looking forward to coming back.

All 3 courses that the 2 of us had were delicious and presented well. Extra dishes of appetisers, bread, amuse-bouche and sweet treats were tasty and free! The service was excellent and the waiting staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Really lovely place to dine and socialise.

I have written a review on trip advisor also as we were so impressed by our experience. We always visit you on special occasions but will be visiting more often. The food and the team were outstanding and when the bill arrived we were shocked at the price in a good way . It totally made our Anniversary. Thank you so much and we will see you very soon.

We enjoyed our first visit to Rubinos, especially the complimentary glass of bubbly for our two birthdays! The food was good and well presented. The wine list was good. The service was exceptional. We were welcomed at the beginning and nothing was rushed. We would recommend you to our friends.

Lovely little find, unusual menu, so made a nice change. Loved the fact that starters could be changed to main and vice versa. There was a wait in between course, but I also like that

This is quite simply the best restaurant in Essex. If you are local, it is a London West End dining experience on your doorstep. Between 5 of us we tried many of the dishes and all were expertly cooked.

We dined on a quiet lunchtime so could not atest to the ambiance at busy times but everything else was 5 star service. We were attentively looked after and had our pick of the seats in the lovely dining room. The little extras other reviews have mentioned really help separate this restaurant from their competitors and the food was all excellent.

My family had a lovely lunch with you January 12th 2024. The service what first class and your menu is always just a little different to that you find elsewhere. Full compliments to chef for making amazingly tasty food, cooked and presented beautifully. A special treat are all of the little side dishes that come out between courses. All things considered, service, food interest and quality, ambience, I think you give tremendous value for money. Definitely my favourite restaurant if I want to go somewhere special.

Food is always absolutely delicious here - it is our favourite place to eat out! Staff are wonderful and you really feel that you are being spoiled. The chef is just amazing and the staff always helpful with recommendations and dietry needs. They have a fantastic vegan menu and superb range of dishes. Our 7 year old thoroughly enjoyed the food here too! A must go!!!

We visited with friends after having enjoyed meals at the previous restaurant. The food was really good, very fresh with innovative flavour combinations. We all had the Seabass which was cooked to perfection. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere and service. Look forward to visiting again!

We held our staff Christmas meal here (7 of us) and were extremely impressed. Despite a lot of last minute changes to the number of our guests, and then one person wanting al a carte, the other, a vegetarian Tasting menu (on the morning of our booking). Nothing was too much trouble for Rob and his team. 6 of us had the December tasting menu and flight of wines. The food was excellent, with very good sized portions and the wine was very well selected and reasonably priced. A few of the stand out dishes being the Squash Tortelli (some of the best pasta we have eaten), Sea bass and the OX cheek. The staff were very attentive and helpful and food excellent. I would definitely recommend a visit and we will be returning in 2024.
