Royal 35 Steakhouse is a stone’s throw away from iconic New York City landmark, The Empire State Building, combining the vibrant energy of New York City with an authentic steakhouse setting.

At the core of Royal 35’s menu is our classic collection of high standard Certified Angus Beef brand USDA Prime. And marbling is key to its incredible flavor and tenderness which is dry aged for 30-35 days in our in-house aging box.

This is probably my fifth time here. I truly enjoy their sliced New York strip steak; It’s excellent. I highly highly recommend this place.

A colleague of mine from the UK and I dined at Royal 35 on a Thursday evening. We saw that they had a 4.6 rating with over 1k ratings - and found out why such high reviews. The entire staff were friendly, quick with service but not overbearing, and provided outstanding food. This is on our list to visit again when in NY on future business trips.

It’s an old school place. Overpriced for what it is, with various extra fees that no other place charges. The vibe is good but the steak was just Ok nothing special. Not worth the money, so many better options with just as good service. Disappointing

Served burnt steak. Knowing the steak was unacceptable still brought the steak out.

Be careful. They add automatically 20 percent service fee to the bill and then also squeeze for additional tips. The food is delicious, but the wine list is not very good. I won't come again, of course.

My daughter and I came here as a splurge while visiting the city. The staff was excellent, from the hostess to our wait staff and the gentleman I assume was the manager and/or owner. All were attentive without feeling rushed, which made the experience even better. The calamari appetizer was crisp and hot. Our filet mignons were melt in you mouth perfection and the German potatoes were incredibly delicious. The only ding I have was there was a party of 8-10 gentleman celebrating a birthday. They had quite a bit of food and drink and were pretty loud as the dinner wore on. We felt that we were in their conversation even though we were on the other side of the room. I wish they had their own private space to celebrate. Regardless, it was a delicious dinner and we would definitely return.

Always great! It’s our neighborhood go to steakhouse. We took a friend who also Linne’s in Manhattan, who’d never been, he thought it was one of the top steakhouses he’s been to in NYC. I shouldn’t be posting this - or you’ll all go, and we’ll never get in! LOL.

First time visiting on a weekend, we usually go mid week. The food as always was good, the service was a bit disappointing. They have a different staff on Sunday, there was no bartender rather a waiter ( or two ) that were doing double duty. The maitre d did not even bother to say hello or recognize us. The young lady who sat us gave us a wonderful corner table , once seated we were as always well taken care of. We will of course return but probably not on a Sunday.

I always enjoy coming to the steakhouse. They are very nice and make you feel like family here. The food is phenomenal. I can’t stress enough how wonderful the place it is and I hope you read this review and decide to come here. In my opinion is better than strip house.

Lots of anticipation for what turned out to be a disappointing experience. The waiter barely acknowledged our presence disappearing most of the time we dined. It wasn’t busy so no excuse for not taking care of us. Super disappointed, food was ok but overpriced for the experience. There are much better steakhouses in NYC, don’t waste your time or money.

When we arrived at 9:30 PM for our reservation me and my girlfriend did not feel welcomed one bit by the host. When we sat down at the table it wasn’t even set for us and the silverware was dirty. The server was very poor at his job and didn’t check in on us hardly at all I would say a total of 3 times the whole hour plus we were there. The food was okay I paid a total of $150 for everything we ordered which was app, entree, side and two drinks. Overall I would not recommend going to this place as customer service is well below the standard it should be for a nice steakhouse. Mastros is a much better place for your money.

Great service, food is delicious and cooked to perfection in terms of steak temps. Only downside was the smell of cigarettes coming from outside and into the dining area.

A hidden gem, service was exceptional, food was great. The drinks were abundant, the staff was attentive and did its very best to make you welcome, comfortable and happy. Pricey like all NY steakhouses but in this case worth every penny. Will be back again soon, my only regret is we did not know about them sooner.

I have come here a couple times and every time that I come here my experience has been great. The steak is excellent old-school steakhouse just like Peter Luger‘s maybe better. Definitely a great little secret.
