Created by his children and grandchildren, Rothchilds Coffee & Kitchen is a celebration and a dedication to the memory of Walter Roth. Our patriarch was a much loved and well-known personality in Great Neck, and his love of family was only matched by his love of great food.

The family has been rooted in Great Neck since the 1960s, and Rothchilds Coffee & Kitchen has been designed as a neighborhood restaurant, with the décor and menu inspired by the diverse and vibrant community of Great Neck and the surrounding towns. The intimate and casual atmosphere serves as a gathering place to celebrate food, friends, family, and community.

Our favorite restaurant in Great Neck and possibly all of Long Island. The food is consistently great and so is the service. We love this place so much, that I hosted my partners 70th birthday party there recently and our friends and family loved the food and service, as well. The Cauliflower flatbread is a must have. The biggest challenge in dining at Rothchilds is deciding what to eat. EVERYTHING is delicious. Very Gluten-free friendly too.

The staff was very attentive and helpful. All the dishes were delicious and well received by our large party. My favorite dishes were grilled eggplant appetizer and the chicken shawarma salad.

We are regulars at Rothschild's and appreciate the clean food, the novel Israeli inspired offerings and healthy approach to dining. This last time on a Sunday evening they ran out of my favorite branzino. Service was slow and almost nonexistent and I was embarrassed at bringing friends here for the first time. We were never asked if we wanted coffee or tea, someone's second glass of wine never came and we had to get up and ask for our check. Hoping it was just an off night.

This warm and welcoming gem has never disappointed. Their food is delicious and the service has always been attentive. Special nod to their burgers - traditional and ahi tuna - and their fries.
