Please call for reservations over 6 guests. We accommodate parties of any size.

Rooftop now open on a first come first serve basis. Reservations will NOT be taken for the rooftop. Rooftop hours of operation vary based on weather and private party bookings.

Rooftop requests are not rooftop reservations and will not be honored. We will do our best to accommodate requests.

Brunch will be served Saturday & Sunday until 2pm

Happy hour Monday-Thursday 3-6pm (1st floor bar only. We do NOT accept reservations for happy hour. Please call ahead and we'll be happy to tell you how full the bar is)

For nearly 50 years, Alex Dana’s Rosebud Restaurants have set the standard for Italian fare in Chicago. Rosebud Randolph will be Alex Dana’s 9th location, featuring a 3-level space including a rooftop, located in Millennium Park.
A 3% Surcharge will be added to every check. We will be happy to remove this by request.

We have enjoyed Rosebud on Randolph on several occasions (food, service, etc). However, our experience last night left a lot to be desired. Our service was mediocre, and the food was not up to its usual standards. Our waiter appeared to be annoyed by any request we made (i.e., refill hot water for tea). We most likely will return, however, hope our experience will be a more positive one.

I have been to the restaurant in Naperville and the location on Taylor Street when it was open, and both of those restaurants were clean and all the employees-the hostesses and servers- were always welcoming and professional. This location was a disappointment. Very disappointing welcome on arrival and the restaurant carpet was extremely dirty and overall the restaurant was not as clean as it could be. The veal was tough on the veal braciole and the caesar salad was just ok. One positive about the food was that the whitefish piccata was flavorful. Our server was nice and relatively attentive. Will not return. Recommend Volare on E. Grand if you are interested in Italian - far superior than Rosebud.

Always excellent food and service. The second floor dining room is a low level of noise (easy for table conversations). Prices are on par with steakhouses in the city - quality matches that though.

The portions are VERY large - definitely family style. Erica was an amazing server!

Had not been to any Rosebud since dining at the original last fall. While the ambiance has changed and can't replicate Taylor St., the food was still terrific!
