The place is fabulous. The service is old world level amazing, the food was incredible (the chicken Parmesan is gigantic and delicious) and my server was so above the top. Prices were very reasonable for the food, ambience and service!

Server was very nice and informative. The restaurant was not overly crowded and we somehow got sandwiched between three other tables in a little back area l. We were a party of two...would have been nice to have had some space.

Had a very nice meal there. Staff was excellent. Food was delicious and the portions very large. They accommodated a food allergy for me with no effort. Solid Italian food.

Our 1st time here. Sat inside and it totally felt like a Supper Club. We had a great waitress. The Bartenders were very experienced (which seems a rarity). Our apps were Bruscetta and an order of sausage and peppers...very tasty!. 3 pasta dishes and my son had a chicken breast with a lemon sauce with jalapeño...I want to go back just for this dish alone.

Amazing food, prompt service. It is a bit loud in the restaurant but that’s the only negative. Big portions and the whole family was satisfied

I’m a huge fan of Rosebud. I always eat at the original location on Taylor Street but it recently has turned into an event only space. I was extremely sad but excited to learn that the chef from Taylor St is now cooking here. Our food was amazing and as delicious as it was always on Taylor St. we had fried calamari, baked meat lasagna, and the famous chicken parm. Everything was amazing. The classic dishes at their best.

The experience was rushed the outside closed 1 1/2 hours before the inside. But the sat is there anyway as rushed us the entire time.waiter was slow and rude it was only 2 tables there no need to be that slow

Great experience! I love the lively ambience. Great for families or other groups. And the food and service is outstanding. The portions are huge so consider splitting.

The food was very good. The experience not so much. We were seated in the enclosed patio. Kind of warm and stuffy in there. The disappointment was the push to get us in and out. We were there for a nice dinner and they pushed us all the way through. We had completed a drink, appetizer and dinner in literally 30 minutes. We were not asked if we wanted another drink. They removed food from our table that we weren’t even done with. It was a strange experience.

I hadn’t been to the city in a long time. We came in from California. I asked one of my cousins where we should go for dinner and you recommended Rosebud and Rush. Food was fabulous portions a little too big for me to finish lol, so we took it home. Had a great time great food, great atmosphere!

Dinner was delicious! We dined downstairs in the main dining room at a private table by the windows. Our service was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious. The portions were large, so I might suggest sharing especially the chicken parmesan. I will definitely dine again when we’re back in Chicago.

We had a great time and lots of good Italian pasta that Rosebud delivers without disappointment! The fish salad is by far our favorite appetizer and the sausage and peppers too. The rest of our group had everything from square noodles, malfadine, gnocchi, rigatoni and risotto. Could not fit dessert in if we tried.

Food is always very good. About 30 minutes before closing they started taking silverware, names, and even our water glasses. We had only been there for less than an hour but definitely got the message to get out.

We hadn’t been to the restaurant in years. This trip we made a point of going because we remembered it as having excellent food and service. We were not disappointed. Food and service were as good as remembered. The pasta was delicious. I only regret we didn’t have room for dessert.

Rosebud always has amazing food. Our server was incredible. She taught two gentlemen how to properly pour a beer and they were very impressed. No doubt we have been coming back for years and this just solidifies that we'll be returning again and again.

Charming little Italian restaurant in the quaint little water tower place area. Short walk from many hotels. The food was really delicious, handmade pasta, and authentic Italian sauces. I think they’re known for their steaks, but my daughter and I got pasta instead. The staff was very attentive and friendly. You really felt like you were in a neighborhood Italian family restaurant. It was a great stop for a little getaway with my teenage daughter.

My new favorite restaurant in Chicago. We went for my daughter’s birthday. Very large portions. I would recommend sharing. The chicken parm dinner can easily feed 3 to 4 people. My steak was amazing! Service excellent. Highly recommend

The food was incredible! Every bite was great, but we were very disappointed in the service. Our waiter made us feel like he simply wanted us gone. We ordered appetizers, salad, and entrees. Every item was brought at the same time. It was not a relaxed meal.

We had dinner Easter 2024 I had sliced ribeye she had Chilean sea bass steak was average kind of tough dipping sauce had no flavor her fish was awesome took 2 deserts back to hotel tiramisu and cheesecake not very good our waitress was awesome but the meal we had was not close to 400.00 We dine at Carmines in StLouis often they need to take notes
