The Henrietta Bar, in the heart of the house of The Roseate Villa Bath is the perfect dining experience, whatever time of day or occasion.

Start your day with our delicious locally sourced Breakfast, with an expansive selection of classic cooked dishes and freshly prepared continental spreads.

Indulge in a delightfully delicious afternoon tea, brimming with homemade treats. Tuck into warm scones, sandwiches made from home-baked bread and moreish indulgent cakes, all made by the Villa's fabulous bakers.

Finally, the Henrietta Bar is proud to launch its new Dinner service from March 2024, with a well curated menu of seasonal European Cuisine, served alongside a fabulous wine and cocktail list.

Please be aware that we are happy to cater for dietary restrictions, including Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten-Free, but we do require advanced notice.

We loved our afternoon tea, the staff were very friendly & attentive. The sandwiches & cakes were delicious, & there was a large selection of tea. My only slight criticism was that it'd be nice to know some of the back story behind the teas, we've had an afternoon tea before & the lady told us a lot about the tea.

We had afternoon tea outside in the front garden, such a lovely experience. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful. The staff were all very professional and friendly, such a credit to the Roseat. The only thing I would critique is the sandwiches were a bit stale but other than that it was great, would definitely come back again.

Great freindly service, lovely quality of cakes and delicious sandwiches with interesting fillings. We had a lovely afternoon.

Exceptional food and a lovely location. It was very quiet, with only one other table booked. The lighting is much too harsh for a restaurant - no need to have those downlights on full blast!

We had a lovely afternoon tea, the place was gorgeous and the location was amazing. The lady was very knowledgeable about the teas and cakes. The other staff members were very kind. We'll definitely be back!

Me and my friend has a lovely time! I was treating her for as a belated birthday gift and we were greeted at the door and served our food promptly. The food was gorgeous and the setting was very nice. Our server was amazing and he took the time to talk to us and made us feel more comfortable as we don’t find ourselves in fancy places very often - or ever! The whole experience was amazing and although the price was pretty steep, i think it was worth it in the end!

My grandmother and I had a lovely time at our afternoon tea. Chris and Louise were very incredibly attentive and professional. The food was delicious. It was a wonderful birthday treat.
