Had a blast celebrating our coworkers upcoming wedding. Staff was sweet, nice, attentive and accommodating. Food was delicious!

This was our first visit to the new Rose & Crown, and boy were we pleasantly surprised! Nothing like the original restaurant. There is fine dining downstairs, which is where we ate. We also looked around upstairs, and that looks like a lot of fun for a different night. My husband had the halibut, which was cooked to perfection, and I had a lamb pasta. YUM. Chocolate torte for dessert was amazing as well. And our server Elizabeth was friendly and efficient. We'll definitely be back!

The ambience of the restaurant is very nice and definitely invokes a upscale British pub atmosphere. The food was good, but a bit over priced. The servers were all extremely nice and polite, however it was obvious they were not trained well. They did not anticipate any needs and we had to keep asking for things which were brought slowly (ie ketchup with fries, malt with fish, plates with appetizers), continually had to be ask to refill drinks, not familiar with menu (didnt know portion difference for lunch/dinner, didn't realize beer names on menu were breweries not types of beer, said it was Coke Zero instead of Diet Coke) and the bill was not done correctly (rang in dinner prices instead of lunch at 2pm).

The parking situation was ridiculous. No need for valet. We went to see Kurt Thomas, had reservations, got a great table, a great waitress, Jasmine, great drinks, good food, a bit pricy for the area. A good time was had by all.

The food and service was exceptional. We dined in the lower resturant, where unlike the upper deck it was very condusive to confersation. We will definitly be back. The key lime pie was the best ever.
