Rosa Mexicano is a fan favorite in the Seaport area! Excellent chips & salsa to start. If you're looking for seafood, try the Cameron's Al Mojo De Ajo: jumbo shrimp, chorizo, fideo noodles, avocado, chile guajillo-lobater butter sauce; delicious! Great atmosphere and service!

The food was delicious, myself and the rest of my party enjoyed what we ordered which were the chicken tacos and steak enchiladas. What left the lasting impression of the service was just how long it took for us to receive our check after we had finished our meals and drinks. We waived a couple different servers to try and get it.

We had a small work lunch (6-7 people). There were only four tables with patrons in the entire restaurant, but it still took us 40+ minutes to get our food. There were also drinks we had to ask about that had been forgotten. One server tried to give food that was for another table, and then another server had us pay the check for a different table. Overall just pretty disorganized, which seemed surprising given how quiet it was. Probably would not host another work lunch there.

Food used to be so good there, there used to be braised short ribs with mole sauce that was incredible. Now the food is like fast food, it was way too loud in there to have a conversation, my guest had the streak and said it was too chewy and then had stomach problems all night. The frozen margarita had too much sours in it, server was MIA for most of the time

Ricardo ( who said was from the area near the Galápagos Islands of Ecuador) was a great server and made a superbly fresh Table-made Guacamole for our table. The drinks were delicious and the food was scrumptious. Thanks for a great weekday dinner out at the Seaport in Boston MA

Vibe of restaurant was energetic and fun for our group of 5. Drinks were good. Service was very good. Server was pleasant and attentive. It’s the food that was awful. Chips brought to the table were ok with meh salsa. Main dishes were a disappointment. Salads with grilled shrimp looked terrible. Bag lettuce with undercooked already small shrimp that were sliced into discs to look like you had more in plate. Chicken enchiladas were flavorless. Chicken nachos were a soggy mess. Too many other fantastic options around that area to come back here.

I love the fresh guacamole made at the table side, but the other dishes we had - a salad with beans and corn and ceviche were just OK. The ceviche didn't have a lot of tuna in it. Sorry, I won't be coming back. That being said I have been to another Rosa Mexicana in DC and had better dishes so maybe it was just what we ordered this time that was disappointing.

Everything was really good. We requested to be seated somewhere quiet and I’m happy because they really tried to meet our expectations. It’s just the floor was a bit dirty but it’s was great

This restaurant was truly a memorable experience! When we came in the whole atmosphere was very relaxed, and there was a beautiful waterfall on the back wall. At first we had chips and salsa. When we ordered drinks there was a variety of options. I got the Cucumber Mint Refresco while my colleagues got a Blood Orange Spritzer and sparkling water. We ordered guacamole which was made right in front of us, very swiftly and professionally. When we had ordered and waited for our food for a reasonable amount of time, it came and we all got a taste of some of the best Mexican food any of us had encountered. The flavors burst in my mouth and everything was delicious and unforgettable. I recommend going to Rosa Mexicana if you want great service and delightful food.

We were immediately greeted by the host who confirmed exactly what I had requested through open table which was a shock because that rarely happens. Than after being sat we were met with the perfect dinner date. The service was absolutely perfect. Not too much but just enough. The food was so amazing that I wanted more. I highly recommend the enchiladas and frozen margaritas. The place is spotless clean, easy to get to, right on the water, and so peaceful inside. Between all of this, I could not be more impressed. Thank you for making my date so special.

Rosa Mexicano just isn’t what it was. The statues on the fountain were all askew at wrong angles, the server seemed to just disappear for long periods of time, and everything feels old and worn. Food was Ok, but it would have been better at a real Mexican restaurant - like Cafe Romero in the back bay…!

Ordered the mushroom enchiladas; was ok. Flavor was OK seem like it was missing some thing, more cheese? Some thing. Enjoyed the guac. Flan was very dense instead of tender.

Table was ready when we arrived, service was great, food was great. Volume is really loud between the noise level of the music and the restaurant noise. Server was kind and friendly but it was so busy we had to wait a good 15 minutes after we were finished to get the check.

I had to flag down a server several times to put in an order and receive our check. Lead server took our appetizer order and was never seen again.

I love Rosa Mexicana. I discovered it in DC, then in NYC, and I’m happy to see one in Boston. In general I enjoy the food, but this time the chips were terrible. They had a smell of overfried fat. We gave up on ordering the guacamole because of the chips. It was also uncomfortably loud in the restaurant. I’m looking forward to the summer and to dining on the terrace.

We had the Chilequiles Divorciados from the Brunch menu. It’s very rare to see Chilequiles on a menu. We’d love to see a salsa verde & crema version on the main menu. The Pomegranate margarita made by Chito was excellent. He was also an attentive server.

Pedro was great! We had company from Ireland and they thoroughly enjoyed the guacamole, soup and tacos! The Sangria and Margaritas were very tasty as well!

We visited the restaurant at 1.1. The place was empty. The food was tasteless and dry, and not as I remembered the restaurant. We will not come back.
