Waitress was great. Food not so much. Macaroni grill used to be our favorite place but it gets worse each time we go. It also smelled of sewer inside. Gross. Mostly likely our last time going.

We had reservations, but we’re told that we had to wait an additional 30 minutes because the kitchen was behind. When we waited the extra time, we were seated, but then we’re told that our meal would take an extra hour. Not too happy.

Made a reservation.. for 2:30 Got seated at 3 Didn’t receive our food till 5:30!!! Left at 6 😠 All while having a 8mo baby with us(I understand may not have been the best idea but he’s a good baby! And did great considering) The people we were seated next to got up and left without paying because of the wait for their food! They where also waiting 3 hrs and where still 2 tickets behind!

It was Mother's day. We had to wait 10 minutes for our appointment. Not bad. Once we were seated, server took our orders within 10 minutes. Kitchen was slow in getting the meals out as room was packed. It took 45 minutes and one of the meals was luke warm and had to be reheated. Turn around on the unheated meal was about 10 minutes - good.

Excellent past experiences, but Mothers Day crowd seemed to tax their abilities. Would definitely return on non-holiday weekend.

Our server was HORRIBLE his name is NASSER, After being seated at our booth. It took 20mins. Before he greeted us. Which he never did properly. Only put down a plate of Oil for the bread which (Bread) came 15mins. Later. The food was delicious but waited a total hour for it. We did have reservations. If our waiter was friendly, patient and customer service oriented. We could be better understanding considering it was Mother’s Day.

When we arrived with a reservation for a booth for four people, we were told we would be seated at a half booth, half chairs. There were three open booths visible. I said, I requested a booth, what about one of those. The host replied, “Those are for people with a reservation. They will be here soon.” I repeated, I have a reservation and we are here now, why can’t we have one of those booths. He mumbled something about that being the way he assigned it. Finally, when it became apparent we were not going away, a woman escorted us to a booth for four people. We were greeted promptly and received our beverage orders, but had to ask for bread. They brought the bread with a saucer with just a tiny bit of oil, no balsamic vinegar. After we placed our orders for entrees, it took an extremely long time to receive our food. One member of our party had specifically ordered two appetizers, saying “this is my meal.” His appetizers arrived sequentially, quite awhile before the rest of us were served. By the time we were served, he had finished his food. The chicken Marsala was lukewarm, when it finally arrived. The two salads, with chicken both had cold chicken. The server was rarely seen, did not status us on the delay until just before we finally received our food. The rest rooms were filthy. There was debris all along the edge of the floors. The doors were grimy from many, many hands, as were the doors leading to the kitchen. The food handlers/chefs? Did not wear gloves when handling the food. The atmosphere was as though there was no direction, no one in charge. When I asked to have the surcharge for the chicken removed from our bill, because it was cold and dry, the server did not apologize or offer anything else. She just said, “OK, it will be taken off.” The entire experience was a huge disappointment. We have always depended on Romano’s as our “go-to place” for family celebrations. Unfortunately we will not be visiting this establishment again.

My husband and I went to Macaroni Grill on a Friday evening at 6 PM. We had reservations, but it would have been OK to come without them at that time. When we left around 7:15 PM, the restaurant was filling up. I had a make your own pasta, which was a wonderful option for me since I have milk allergies, and cannot tolerate cheese. I had a base of rigatoni, Bolognese sauce, three toppings, which were sun-dried tomatoes, asparagus, and mushrooms. In addition, I added Italian sausage. My husband had chicken marsala, which looked yummy and he said was excellent. We each had a drink. I had a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon by Daou and my husband had a whiskey sour. Our server was attentive and sweet. Our server was prompt. I would recommend this Temecula location.

My experience was not so great. Stopped here on the way home from Legoland and the restaurant had about 12- 15 customers max including my family of 6, a lot more staff than customers. Orders took longer than they should’ve. Also, ordered an alcoholic beverage that never came, when I asked where was my drink right before getting handed the bill, I was informed that the bartender was “busy”. Reminder, no customers were at the bar.
