We are Tex-Mex
Our menu is founded in Tex-Mex basics, which are influenced by the border-style flavors of Texas and Mexico. We're especially proud of our homemade flour tortillas, refried beans, chile con carne, fajitas and cheese & onion enchiladas, to name a few. We had a large party and arrived a few minutes early. We were seated right away. Service was great. Our waiter was Carlos and he rocked it. He was awesome!

We visit Roja once a year maybe, and it's hit or miss each time. Dont even think about coming without a reservation, and if you have one, things flow smoothly. Margaritas are not too sweet, and not very strong, but a good buy during happy hour. Chips are light, warm and nicely salted and the accompanying salsa is tomatoey fresh. Our dinner order got messed up, but my partner is flexible, so he took what he was given. The onion and cheese enchilada will wait for another day. What he received was two ground beef tacos. Presentation was meh, but he said the meat had a nice flavor different from some standard "old el paso." Fish tacos were great and the smothered pork burrito was good, but waaay too much food. I was trying to recreate an awesome experience I'd had previously with a pork dish when I ordered the burrito, but, alas, this wasnt it. As mentioned, it was good, but not great. The restaurant is open and very loud. It was difficult to have a conversation involving the whole table, so we had one to ones instead. Prices are good -- especially if you order drinks during happy hour.

We had a large table of people, and I was so impressed with how quickly we got our drinks and food! We had 6 drinks that I swear came back to the table within 3 minutes, and all 9 of us got our food within 15 minutes of ordering. The food and drinks were delicious and so affordable!

Roja never disappoints. The free chips and salsa always make it a special. Perfect saltiness and crisp. The house margaritas are also a favorite.

My gf and I don’t get to go out very often as I also work in the service industry but Roja was incredible in every sense of the word. Service was friendly and accommodating w/o being overbearing and the food was impeccable. It was cool to sit next to the tortilla press and watch the chefs work as we dined. We both rarely take our leftover food home in boxes but decided we couldn’t possibly let any of this go to waste. Drinks were fairly priced and the shot of tequila halfway through the meal was perfectly presented.

Here from out of town for a basketball tournament. Roja was right by our hotel so we tried it. It was fantastic. My wife got the surf and turf tacos and I got the beef fajitas. Both were outstanding. They actually use delicious, tender skirt steak as opposed to the cheap thin cuts used at most places. Our service was great and so was the margaritas. Definitely recommend this place.

There were multiple hairs in my meal. They took it off my bill, I just super grossed out. 3 small black hairs.

The food was amazing as always, but after my friends and I were done eating the waitress kept rushing us out and took our water cups away from us. It was obvious that she wanted us out the door. I just thought it was extremely rude considering we all ordered food, drinks and tipped.

Love the queso! I absolutely recommend using OpenTable for reservations because this place is always packed and when staff is limited they space out seating guests . I think it’s a great approach because expectations start pretty quickly once we’re seated ykwim.

Overall it's just a slightly overpriced and Americanized Mexican restaurant. The food was good, but nothing to write home about. Although, for the Nebraska market, it's probably one of the better options. I recommend it if you're looking to try "ethnic" food (but not really). The flautas and the salsa was very good 👌

Have been many times and dined tonight three couples. Our waiter was very good and patient since we hadn’t seen each other for a while we were doing a lot of catch up. I ordered the Pork Chipolite and it was fine. The only issue we had the dishes were brought to the table by different wait staff who didn’t know what the dish was or who it was for.

Weak drinks, long wait for our food. We had chips & salsa, our appetizers, and still had to ask for napkins/silverware when our food was served. Our server must have been busy, we didn't see much of him and when we did he was rather curt with us. Had noted on the reservation that we were celebrating a 21st Birthday, but there was no mention of it until fried ice cream appeared. By that time we had been waiting for the check and were more than ready to go.

The chicken in the taquito (happy hour) and smothered burrito (main menu) was very dry. We were charged an extra $0.60 EACH for pickled and regular jalapeños…

The waitstaff was attentive and friendly. The restaurant was clean and our request for a booth was honored. The menu is very large and the dinner was delivered quickly.

Our server was so attentive. He got us extra chips and salsa before we were even out. All the food was correct and came quickly. Drinks were always full and overall just had a great dinner!

Our experiences are always good. Mallory is a great server and will always ask for her. I have a dairy allergy and she made sure the food came out with none. Mahi mahi tacos my go to every time and hubby always takes home half his burrito - so good.

Food and service were excellent! Music was SO LOUD we had to shout in order to hear each other…and even then, it was difficult. We left as soon as we were finished with our meal. Wouldn’t recommend if you just want to enjoy a meal and chat.

The restaurant was a bit loud, but the food was great. We went for Sunday happy hour and had one mishap with our order, but it was quickly fixed and the server was apologetic. We love their flautas and margaritas!

Food was excellent and served quickly. Salsa was spectacular. Margarita was above average. However, felt very rushed. Server gave us our ticket immediately upon finishing our meal. Didn’t bother to ask us if we might want anything else — and we did. But, we payed our bill promptly and left. Felt like there was more interest in churning tables than customer satisfaction.

Had the chicken fajitas and I thought they were very good. Maybe a little skimpy on tortillas (only 3) and meat compared to others, but overall felt it was really good.

The food and ambiance was great. I had made a reservation two days prior, when I arrived (without notification rang my table was ready) the hostess had to move people around to accommodate my party. But she did her best, and was very helpful. We rarely saw our server and had to wait a long time to get drinks and order more. Requested more chips and salsa and never received it, until asked another server. Was brought the wrong queso and had to 10 minutes for server to come back to fix mistake. But mistake was fixed. Food and drinks were great. Next will sit in bar area most likely.

We celebrated my birthday with a family dinner at Roja. It was nice to a restaurant with lots of service help! Good and drinks came out quickly, was checked on several times. Everyone enjoyed their meal.
