My two friends were dairy free and the staff couldn’t have been more careful to get appropriate meals for them. We very much enjoyed our bream and cod. The blood orange sorbet was a wonderful finish to the meal. The staff were friendly and efficient. The only comment I would make is that the acoustics are difficult for the hard of hearing. We love coming to Rocksalt and would do it more often if it was a bit cheaper. Little Rock fits that bill!

Poor service very slow & sadly missed out on starters & deserts due to the service being slow. Lovely food and ambience just need to step up the service

Lovely views of the sea from the huge picture windows , Tables of 1-4 can be seated on the balcony if weather good. Quite a lot of young staff ,what they may lack in experience they make up for in their very helpful friendly manner. We found the food and drink service could be a little slow but was a very busy Sunday/ May bank holiday so could be forgiven , I think all 6 of us would love to eat there again. We had eaten there a couple of times when they first opened which was some time ago I remember a problem with seagulls, they seem to have sorted that . Parking a car on a busy weekend can prove a problem but we were lucky as spotted two cars leaving as we arrived.

Exceptional seafood restaurant with an amazing view over the harbour. Excellent service - delightful staff. Have been many times and consistently good. Would highly recommend.

The food was all fantastic. Fresh, tasty and well presented. The terrace seating area is lovely and was a suntrap for our entire visit. Service could be improved upon however. It started well with a young lady who was attentive and took out initial starter order quickly but then a different waiter took over and he didn’t keep up the good service. He seemed to forget about our table and I had to seek out dessert menus and place the order on the floor myself. Despite the change in service, the food is amazing and the location is spectacular so we will return. Highly recommended this restaurant for a special occasion and if you love seafood!

We chose Rocksalt to celebrate my partners 50th birthday. Lovely setting by the harbour and our table by the window was lovely . Food was excellent but wait and service between meals was very poor indeed . Waited 45 mins for our mains after the starter plates were cleared and once our desserts were ordered we had to cancel a special birthday drink my partner ordered as still did not arrive by the time our desserts came . And to top it off once the deserts arrived no special birthday dessert with candles on for my partner even though I rang the day before to request this for her big 50TH and they said yes that’s fine. Overall setting and food was great but that’s where all the positives end unfortunately. Would not recommend restaurant based on our own experience.
