Our waiter Stephen was awesome. Energy matched ours we celebrated our birthday and found out it was his birthday daybefore. He took great care of us!.

Food was just ok. 3 in our group ordered a bowl. Proteins were good. Not so much the other ingredients.

The food was very good. Our waiter, Stephen, was very good but several times got sidetracked and did not bring requested items. It would be nice if they would clean items off of the table as you move from one phase of the meal to another. Overall a fun afternoon.

I would like to mention that I have frequented this restaurant on several occasions, usually two times a year, due to work training. Typically, I choose to sit at the bar. However, during my most recent visit, I experienced discrimination to such an extent that I felt invisible. Despite having a reservation for the inside at 7:30 p.m., we arrived around 7:00 p.m. Surprisingly, the hostess seated us outside, and no one came to attend to our table. We noticed a waitress passing by our table multiple times without acknowledging us. Interestingly, a Caucasian couple seated nearby received prompt service. After finally getting the attention of a waitress, we requested a table under the heater, which happened to be in her section. We waited at the table for quite some time, and shortly after, a Hispanic couple sat down and received chips immediately. Eventually, a male waiter named Stephen approached us to inquire about our service. He provided us with chips, took our drinks and food orders, and served us accordingly. Thank you, Stephen B. Meanwhile, while waiting for our food, a female photographer, Hispanic (Maybe), approached every table around us, offering to take pictures, but she never stopped at our table to. It was a no-brainer at that moment. A family of 4 was seated behind us during dinning and received service right a way for the female waitress. The food was good, but unfortunately, I realized that Rockin Baja Lobster in Old Town San Diego is not the place for people who look like me.

It's a great place to eat different varieties of seafood dishes. It was very yummy. Very clean and the staff is super friendly.
