The food was very good. I have been there twice, and each time everything that I had tasted great. I did think it was a little bit on the high side for the prices, but you do get good food. I have not been there for any live music yet, so I can't comment on that. I do recommend this restaurant for sure.

At first the waiter was attentive. Our food was brought out and was not good. We had 2 pizzas both were really burnt. I brought my son and 3 friends for his bday. The one kid did one pizza tasted weird and was super burnt. He didn't want to send it back. The bbq chicken pizza the onions were burnt to charcoal. My bbq salad had see through lettuce (think it had been frozen). My other kiddo ordered bbq boneless wings and they were so spicy you couldn't even eat them. In sorry but $5 /soda is absolutely ridiculous. Totally overpriced. The batting cages only really had 2 that worked. We had to keep going in to get our lost tokens back. Nobody put a sign up so other people also had to deal with that Hassel. I feel like the workers saw the pizza was super burnt and should not have sent them out like that. $130 and was disgusting. Not only that the waiter didn't come back for almost an hour to give me the bill. My $5 soda was never refilled.

Service was outstanding. Great crew took care our party of 12. We came for batting cages and to watch 49ers game. Food was mixed bag. Some items outstanding, others meh. Batting cages are worthless relic that needs to be replaced. Enjoyed watching 9ers beat Eagles and love the atmosphere.

The kids that were at the location were out of control. Completely unmanaged by the parents that were so into theirselves to take others people dining experience into consideration. Same when we went out to golf the kids were just allowed to go out unsupervised and did not even pay just running and chasing. I went into the restroom to find a group of girls in there playing in the stalls. Not sure why that is ever something you would want to do to begin with. We came with our daughter as her family so it wasn’t like we did not have kids. If that is the vibe your going for then it’s a win. The expectation should be set that this is not a sit down restaurant. The name is Rock and Brew the same songs played over and over I don’t think there was one rock song on the play list. Your more of a sports bar with nothing to do with rock music.

The ambience is great and super convenient location if you're going to an event afterwards at Cal Expo. Food was really good. Servers were super friendly. Unfortunately, not well managed. A party of 90 was there and they were very understaffed in kitchen and waiting staff. We waited 30 minutes for a drink. Then the wrong app was delivered to our table. We had to wait 45 minutes for our apps. We gave them our credit cards right away so we could pay and it was taking so long since we had to get to the soccer game. Probably wont go back.

Too expensive for them to be missing menu side items. Server must have been her first ever restaurant job and not going well. The rock art on the walls was just a bunch of printed canvases from FedEx print, nothing special. Won't go back with so many great restaurants in the area, plus this was difficult to get to.

There wasn’t enough lighting for mini golfing and my group decided not to complete the course. The batting cages were fun and the food and drinks were good. A lot of space, and a clean environment. I’d go again

Food was pretty good for the price wouldn’t say its Michelin star level but very tasty. The burgers are good, got the Oklahoma smash medium, it was well done but the taste was excellent. Mini golf and bating cages were excellent and affordable. At lunch time the place wasn’t swarmed which I liked. Our server Ernesto was excellent as well. Overall, definitely coming back for another date or with a group.

The food was very good. The only negative I can say is that the service was slow. We had to wait quite a while for our food. You just can’t go there for lunch if you’re in a sort of hurry. Other than that, it was very good.

So, SO wanted to love this place. Neat concept! Hardworking team but food is underwhelming. TIP: bring diners utensils & napkins & plates with the wings. Very disappointing.

It was a disappointment - we were excited from seeing it from the outside and from the website. More than half the fountains weren't working and when we walked in it was like a glorified roadhouse with rock n roll posters and a bunch of tables. Plastic tableware. Server kept forgetting we existed because he was also bartending and serving tables. It was loud. Music videos being played were good but the food was nothing to write home about and expensive. We all agreed that it was an experience we all wanted to try once but won't be coming back.

We made an early (6:15) dinner reservation so that we could make it to a SacRepublic 8:00 match. This dining experience was a failure on all counts: - Menu was outdated - Many of the beers listed were not available, preventing my husband, who was being treated for Father’s Day, from ordering what he wanted. Even the wine I initially ordered was not available. Additionally, we ordered a gluten free kids pizza for our daughter, who has celiac disease, and were told that it was only available in the 10” pizza from the regular menu. So we ordered the GF pizza from the regular menu… more to come. - Service was slow. Drinks were slow in coming—took about 30 minutes. Dinner was even slower. We saw all tables around us receive their food and leave before our dinner was served. Twice our server said that our meals were nearly ready…. Then, when asked to check, said they’d be about 7 minutes more… - Orders were incorrect. Sides that we’d ordered were left off. Since the orders were already late, we said… don’t bring the sides. - Then, THEY SERVED MY DAUGHTER A REGULAR FULL GLUTEN PIZZA. We spotted it immediately and would not let her eat it. Separate servers confirmed that she’d been served the wrong item and went and found the GF pizza that had also been prepared and was ready, ending a full meltdown that was already in progress. (My daughter has a developmental disability and sometimes no filter.) - The manager apologized and said the meals would be comped. He then confirmed that the children’s pizza is always GF and was, indeed, available that night! - We were presented with another table’s full bill… which we did, of course, not pay. - We were 20 minute late to the football match. - And the food was flavorless.

We have always had perfect service here in the past especially with Hannah, our favorite server. But last night we went for Mother’s Day and we’re disappointed with the service, much like the tables around us seemed to be as well. It wasn’t busy AT ALL despite being a holiday so there was no reason for poor service. Our server was super nice don’t get me wrong, but just didn’t seem to have much server experience or training. We sat down for a while and when our server finally came she brought us all water and asked if we wanted any appetizers. We ordered our appetizers and she didn’t come back until after the appetizers were served by a busser. We had to ask her to order our drinks other than water she never offered to take a beverage order or brought us place settings. Our drinks finally came after our appetizers were done. And then we had get her attention to ask to order our food? I was like can we order food please and she was like oh sure. Maybe she thought we just wanted water and appetizers not sure but it was weird to have to ask our server to take drink and food orders. I asked a second time for silverware and when I unwrapped mine both the knife and fork were dirty, the knife still had some kind of white sauce crusted on it. Clearly not washed before being wrapped in the napkin ring. So I just ate with my fingers. Our food was spectacular thankfully. After finishing our dinners…. I had to get our servers attention to ask if we could place a dessert order and to request the check. The table next to us was having the same issue and was the gentleman was visibly annoyed to have to keep asking for everything they needed. Definitely need more training! A customer should not have to ask a server to order drinks and food….honestly should not have to ask to spend money, that’s the easiest part of serving anticipating people are there to eat and drink.

Not even picture worthy. (Food tasted ok) just getting it was horrible. Decided to give this place a second try since they have had time to work the kinks out. It was worse. Took them 20 minutes to bring our beer, gave our food to another table and had to wait even longer. There’s also a bonus for checking in offering bread pudding, which isn’t even on the menu. Won’t be back. The only thing that made it ok, was the waitress being pleasant and the only one that deserved $$.

Met up with friends for mini golf and brews. Good choice of beers and the tasty food was served fairly quickly.

Took the server almost 1 hour to acknowledge we were there.. we went to the host 4 times and nothing was done. It’s like the people working there are all over the place. The food made up for the service BUT I doubt I will go back.

This was my fifth time coming to rock & brews, and every single time there was an issue with getting seated or being helped. Most of the times, there was a reservation ahead of time and still we were made to wait while other people walked in and were seated. My observation is that there is not enough staff sometimes to accommodate right away, but a customer should never be told they do not have any severs to help them especially when they have a reservation. On at least three occasions, there were not a lot of customers to the point where we should have had to wait. On this most recent visit we arrived approximately 20 minutes early so when we were told we would have to wait, I assumed it was because of the reservation time and that the servers just needed time to get a table ready but we waited the 20 minutes and then I went up to the counter at which point the hostess stated that she was just about to seat us. Then we waited at our table for about 15 minutes before I went up and told the hostess that no one has come to get our order or acknowledge us at all. Meanwhile, during that 15 minutes there were two servers we saw making their way around to different tables. No one tried to find out who our server was or approach us so that was why I had to go up and ask about it. After that someone came and it wasn’t one of the servers from that section and she took our orders and from there we got our food but this was not right. We were treated like we didn’t exist and it happens every time I go there. We like the atmosphere, and we enjoy the food and I just keep thinking that it’s just a staff issue but my last experience made me want to tell you what is going on and to ask that you please do something about your customer service because right now it stinks.

Food and environment was great. Service was okay but it was very busy with the Kings game on the tv. I will go back on a non game night to see if we can hear some music

Went to watch kings game 1 and couldn't hear the tv's. food was good but pricey. Service was great. very attentive.

Service was TERRIBLE, the first 4 beers I tried to order they were out of. it was easier to ask what they did have vs keep trying to order. it took 20 minutes to get drinks at all. food was alright but not worth the bad service. The place has potential if they hired servers who cared. It didnt seem to he a matter of being short handed either the servers were just terrible

They were not ready to seat us on time despite a reservation. They were out of several beers and other drinks. Waitress was good but server brought out wrong food. Overall it was a below average experience and given how expensive it is to eat out I doubt we will be back.
