    Nearly all items on menu came with peas (not currentlyin season). What happened to fresh veg? Pie wasn't stew with a square pf pastry on top! Other foods was overcooked, dry and tasteless. 1 person enjoyed meal they had steak. Was sat for at least 15mins before any order taken. Would normally have complained attentive but due to company with decline to do so. Protecting party rather than restaurant.

    Staff were really friendly, varied menu and nice food. Had a really nice time. We sat in the beer garden after food and was lovely.

    Had dinner here through the week whilst away with work. Booked a table, turned up and was quickly seated, with a view of the football on TV! Service was excellent, I had a beer served within minutes of entering the pub and my food order was taken quickly. My food arrived promptly and was delicious 😋

    Came here on Sunday with 2 kids, the food is amazing! I'm actually surprised there was space left to book a table. Everything fresh, good flavour, hot etc, even the kids chicken nuggets looked nice (not processed crap) The server was great too, very friendly and courteous. The only thing that bugged us was that there were no cookie dough desserts from the kids menu left, so they recommended a fudge cake instead. We ordered 1 each for the kids and they were massive, they could have easily shared one between them! But other than that everything else was spot on and very good prices too, thank you!

    Arrived early but was no problem for the staff. We were seated and served within 5mins. The meal, service was good and great value for the money. Was expecting the bill to be more as we had drinks with it.

    I have been here several times ( as I used to live in the area) & the food as always been great. Unfortunately I was very disappointed on my last visit. There was a strange smell ( fatty oil) & the food & presentation wasn’t great. Really disappointed as I had travelled from Leyland to meet up with a friend. The lady who served us was lovely & very welcoming though x
