RIVER RANCH CATTLE COMPANY was designed to bring “Ranch Chic” dining to an area rich in history of cattle farms and the original cowboys. From the early days of cattle drives to the continuous family ranches you drive past on your way in, the area is known for its sprawling acreage and the historic trail that the cowboys of the 19thcentury used to help drive the growing economy that was being built by using cattle as the main industry. The Cracker Trail was long and treacherous with heat, swamps and predators along the way, but these cowboys still ventured out every day to ensure the economy we enjoy today is thriving.

So raise a glass, and to toast the history of the ranch. Here’s to bringing a little cowboy to your day.

                                                        The service by our server Jonathan was awesome! My husband got the Prime Rib and said it delicious and all our meals was delicious!

                                                        Waited 45 minutes to be seated because we didn’t have reservations. Hostess told us she “was booked straight through til 9:30. “ Literally no more than three other parties came in while we waited. (Small parties of 4 or less. ) Dining room was more than half empty when we were seated. I’d love to know the reason we couldn’t have been seated earlier? We walked in at 5:50 and ended up being late for the start of the rodeo. at 7:30. S-L-O-W service, took forever for the food to come (again, dining room was more than half empty and most of the parties were couples or small families. ) The drinks were watered done, three Shirley Temples looked like Sprite ( not even a ting of red coloring) Worst Margarita ever, served in what looked like a shot glass. Tasted like straight sour mix. Sent it back and settled for a light beer, it was obvious the bartender didn’t know how to make drinks. The prime rib was so salty it gagged me. Not even a real potato but a cheap mix version and only Brussels spouts as an option for a vegetable. Very far from “fine dining”. Awful, just awful. Y’all ought to be ashamed of yourselves. $140 for two burgers and two prime rib dinners and left hungry.

                                                        Great food always !! This is our 5th time coming here we have a RV at River Ranch RV Resort next to it and it was the perfect Mother’s Day dinner to bring my mother in law for the first time !!

                                                        Shocking service and very disappointed Rreservation booked for 5pm, wasn’t seated until 45 mins later. Drink ordered beforehand at the bar, took 15 mins to make 2 drinks, 15 mins more to pay for them. Drinks ordered with dinner came after the meal. Staff were not happy and they expressed this to us. Not a good dining experience even though the steak was good

                                                        Table was not ready at reserved time. Flatbread was bland; ordered side of bbq sauce to driizzle on it to perk it up. Brussel sprouts were inedible because of pulpy stalks; it was sent back. Loaded baked potato was barely loaded (some sour cream, little cheese, bacon, or chives). Wings were great. Waitress did not return with requested sweetener for tea.

                                                        The food was good; we all enjoyed it. My wife's white wine was not properly chilled. When we asked, they did not handle it correctly. Then, when we received our bill, they tried to charge us $10 more for the bottle of wine. When we questioned it, the waitress tried to say this bottle was a different year. However, on the menu we ordered from, there was only one price, and the year was not mentioned.
