Typically enjoyed in the late afternoon or early evening, it's especially popular on Sunday morning before lunch, making it the perfect way to unwind and savor the weekend. This Sunday, we invite you to experience our very own Aperitivo. From 11 to 3 p.m., we will be serving our signature Aperol Spritz, a refreshing and invigorating cocktail made with Aperol, Prosecco, and a splash of soda. A wonderful meal. Well served in a very attractive place with a friendly wait staff. I am diabetic and so I don't order dessert. They fixed me a fresh fruit platter not on the menu.

The new Sunday lunch menu is great. Very fresh salad, and the SPAGHETTI ALLE vongole is wonderful and the sauce is delicious!

Didn’t get the table we wanted but the service was so friendly we soon forgot about all that—some other diners were camping out and who could blame them? A really good value is hard to find in this city. Latch onto this one.

the papardelle fungi & sausage and tagliatelle bolognese but would have preferred more al dente. octopus not as tender as the previous visit but the olives in the dish were exceptional usually don't like olives in my food this time wished there had been more service is very nice and can forgive the food not being 5 star because the ambience is so wonderful. will go back again to keep trying all their pastas

We had the best server last night. He gave us a sample of wines to taste before we ordered and gave a lot of detail about the dishes. He was incredibly patient answering all my questions. The vibe is great and am so glad we came here for dinner.

I know most of the restaurants in this part of town pretty well, but I had never been to Ristobar. It was EXCELLENT! Authentic Italian food, very well prepared. Excellent service. Great ambience. Go for it!

Service was top notch, all folks who provided service were very friendly and had excellent recommendations. The food was phenomenal. From the scallop appetizer to the pasta course (agnolotti and rigatoni), and onto the main (9oz. Filet), and finally the desserts (crema al cioccolato and tiramisu)….. all excellent!! This place not pretentious, everyone there is GREAT. We very much look forward to returning soon!

I just hosted 15 of my friends at Ristobar for my birthday and the service was AMAZING. Our sever (Cooper) was so friendly, informative, and accommodating to our raucous group and Mattia (who I believe was the manager and menu designer) came and checked on us a few times and offered some great recommendation on gluten free and non dairy items. We left feeling a part of the Ristobar family, even giving hugs on the way out. Great for groups and for great wine, food, and staff - highly recommend!!

Staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. We were 10 minutes late to our reservation and they were running behind, so the host/manager had us hang out at the bar while we walked for our table. They were extremely apologetic for our delay and gave us a glass of wine for free for the trouble on top of a few tasting “shots” of cocktails. The bread was baked fresh. The pinse was delicious (we got the spicy sausage one, I think it’s called pecante).

We all had a pasta dish. They were all delicious. We will go here again next time we are in San Francisco. Our waiter Cooper was very helpful with suggestions and information about items on the menu. The service was perfect.

One of the the best Italian restaurants in the city! Authentic Italian because the owner is from Italy hence the food is outstanding! Hospitality?! I felt as if they knew me for 20 years, the level of service was so impeccable. This treatment is hard to find these days in our culinary mecca. If you don't live in the neighborhood the restaurant is located in, it's well worth the trip! An absolute gem for Italian food lovers who desire the real deal.

What a great experience. Everything was great, from our beautiful pear salads to the delicious pappardelle, gnocchi, and cavatappi… Oh please get the limoncello pannacotta. If you are lucky, your servers will be the excellent Alberto and Mauricio. They are truly the best.

Great service, the manager was on point and very hospitable, and friendly! The food came out quickly, delicious and the whole staff were friendly and professional! I loved the pizza, we got the margarita and piccante and they were fresh and made to order! Now that’s amoré! While the food was amazing along with their beer and wine, I have to say the star of the restaurant was the service. Thank you for a wonderful night out for us!

It's one of the nicer venues on Chestnut with surprisingly high quality food. Definitely would recommend for high-quality-but-not-Michelin-priced experience.

The Valentine’s Day fixed menu was outstanding. Ceviche delicately seasoned with a dried orange chip garnish or beautiful complex beet salad with fried ricotta; wonderful crab fettuccini served in the crab shell or delicious mushroom pappardelle; lovely fresh branzino and amazing hazelnut ice cream. We missed trying the lamb chop. The seasoning was complex and delicately balanced. Just so. Service was super, great staff. Highly recommend. Liked the small back room with regular rather than high tables in the bar area. Oh and the cocktails were excellent!

Ristobar is the best. They have great food and are wonderful people. The GM, Mattias, is the best. He remembers his customers and treats them like friends. I dine out every night, Ristobar is my favorite.

Excellent service, good food and beautiful room. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive and despite the sports tvs in thee bar, the room is fairly quiet and exceptionally civilized.

Our first time at Ristobar was entertaining due to the Manager and our delightful server. The food left us disappointed. The Fritto Misto was just OK but was obviously frozen. The butter lettuce with walnut salad was split perfectly but drowned in dressing. All the pasta dishes were very al dente and the fettucini was sent back as it was not cooked. The Agnolotti Del Plin was described as a culinary special but was very boring and had it not been for an order of pizza bread to eat the sauce, then it would have been a failure. The well-advertized dessert menu was uninspiring and there was no cheesecake, We ordered Baba and it was just not very good, and was replaced by the waiter with some ice cream. If not for the manager and server the evening would have been a huge disappointment but we did come for the food and the food was not very good.

Carbonara was amazing but Manhattan was just ok. Great, friendly, family-like and welcoming service. They have a covered parklet too that had plants and welcoming. It was a good place and I’ll go back!
