I had the Pollo Juan Poblo. The chicken waa well seasoned and juicy. My companion enjoyed the flautas.

We had a new waitperson and had a bit of trouble ordering but other than that, a great experience!

The food and the service was grand. Everything was hot and very flavorful. The drinks we good to. Our bill was $200 for four people. Overall, I would definitely go back again. 👍🏽

This was our first time at Rio Mambo. We needed a quick accommodation for a large group and they totally came through. We will be back. Great food, service, and value!

The food was average Tex/Mex. The menu had a good amount of options. I think at this price point you can get better Tex/Mex around town.

We had driven by several times and heard that the margaritas were good so we thought we'd try it. The service was great, margaritas were good but the food was bland. For Tex-Mex, there was zero spice; the salsa tasted like store (jar) bought mild. The grilled bees were good, but no spice at all. Won't be going back but I can say we've been.

Other than the hostess not acknowledging the open table reservation after mentioning it 3 times, the server took over and made for a decent meal and experience.

I own fine dining restaurants and am not quick to be critical, but the service here was dreadful. Not just our table, but many others. Not busy enough to warrant inattentiveness or failure to remove anything from the table. We finally cleared our own table and then saw a few others do the same. I love the atmosphere and the scene. Great outdoor area and food was slightly above average. Our server neither listened, nor was he capable of discussing the menu as he was fully oblivious. I assure you this is not overly critical. I even gently encouraged him a couple times but he was a deer in the headlights. Just meh. I’d give it another chance for the atmosphere and music. Was surprised to hear it was a chain. They need some attention to policy. It starts with the GM.

This was our first visit, we were celebrating our 51st Anniversary as well as our youngest son and his wife's 24th. The food was good but there was a table of young people who were quite loud, however they were young and seemed to be enjoying themselves. Although they were loud, it was fine.

Had to get together with a colleague of mine and it was halfway between both of us with an outdoor patio. They have misting devices that lower the outdoor temp to tolerable! Food was excellent. Service was very good, attentive but not obtrusive. Highly recommend it.

Overall, a good lunch experience. Good food, pleasant service. I expected more as a first time visitor - presumed this was a cut above other restaurants of its type but came away under whelmed.

Excellent table service, extensive menu with the classic Tex Mex favorites. The crema verde has a pleasant tanginess. Only negative: the hostesses acted as if they were doing us a favor.

Terrible, terrible experience. On top of them claiming not to have my Open Table reservation when we checked in (at the exact time of my reservation btw), we were finally seated outside. I know it was busy tonight (5/5), but to leave my party of 6 at a table for 20 minutes after being seated without a waiter or waitress coming by once was insane. Then when i asked for a waiter and one finally came by, takes our drink order (and gets it wrong btw), then we don't see him again to take our order for another 20 minutes is inexcusible. Food orders were wrong too. And our waiter we was rude. Too many options in this area to come back here.

considering in was Cinco DeMayo the overall atmosphere was energetic. Our waiter Andre did an outstanding job of serving us despite the very large crowd! Our food was timely and excellent.

Unfortunately they didnt appear to have our reservation or had given it to someone else. Got two different stories on that actually. So, they put us outside by a fire and a few people smoking. Eventually my wife complained and we got a table inside. Once we were in it was fine except the server was visibly annoyed with us. Which... was awkward.

They seemed to not have our reservation. We had to wait for them to prepare a table for us. Our server was OUTSTANDING! Wish I could remember his name, but he was a fairly new employee.
