Disappointing we had a reservation for a table for 2 and we sat on a draughty bench. The staff and service was amazing they eventually found a table.The food was lukewarm and nothing special

Very impressed with this restaurant. First of all they accommodated a last minute change of date ( to a Saturday night!) It was noisy, of course, but the service was unobtrusive and efficient. I wanted to taste several smaller dishes but not have the set menu, and the waiter was very helpful with his suggestions, just the right amount The food was fresh, and the flavours amazing, subtle and delicious We’ll be back!

Our party of 7 were warmly welcomed and treated like queens by our lovely server. Nothing was too much trouble, including catering for specific dietary needs. Delicious banquet with new taste experiences, several courses and delivered by friendly and knowledgeable staff. Definitely returning and highly recommend Rick Shores, especially for a celebration.

We are regularly visitors to the restaurant whenever we come up to the Gold Coast and Rick Shores never disappoints. Whether it be for lunch or dinner the food, service and atmosphere is always first class and the views from any table are fantastic.

A must when you’re next on the Gold Coast. Our late lunch was outstanding, mouthwatering food and drinks. Great service by Jake & the views are to die for. We can not wait to eat here again!

Wonderful food, atmosphere and service. The location at Burleigh is world-class. This is a must go to restaurant if you're visiting the coast. Booking well in advance will give you an unbelievable table, but all tables at the restaurant are good regardless.

Exceptional customer service by Jake and the lady at the reception who showed us to our seat. 5:45pm dining on 10th of May. Thank you for giving us the best seat in the house. My 40th was such perfection because of you guys. The food, the ambience, the crowd, truly unforgettable. The reservation I did 3 months ago was indeed worth it!

Rick Shorea came highly recommended to me and it did not dissappoint! The view was superb, the food absolutely delicious and the service phenomenal!!! Nothing to fault at all. Would highly recommend and would visit again!

My favourite place to eat on the Gold Coast - the food is exceptional every single time, the service is great and the venue is the perfect vibe for lunch / dinner with a view and some drinks. Highly recommend!

The pork bao buns and chicken dumplings were absolutely delicious. The wait staff were polite, attentive and engaging throughout the whole experience. This was my second time at the restaurant and I’m already looking forward to returning in the near future. Not to mention the view is simply stunning. @eatwithm3e is my Instagram food page if you want to see pictures !

Marvellous food & outstanding service. One meal was not to our liking & it was removed from our bill & the waiter took feedback to improve the dish. Setting is magnificent. We had a lovely lunch! Couldn’t recommend it enough.

Second time at Rick Shores, but the first time for dinner. We booked early and asked for a window table, and were delighted to be given a table looking straight out onto the beach. The food was fabulous, and the service terrific, and we couldn’t fault the whole experience. A wonderful evening.

Best restaurant on the Gold Coast. We are from London yet visit family every 6 months. This is our go to for all of our celebrations. Service, food, ambience and view all incredible.

Everything was stunning. Initial welcome could be better as no one at front station. Disappointing menu item wasn’t removed from menu. Burrata with roti is the best ever!!

Hard to fault. Attentive but unobtrusive service. Great ambiance with the surf breaking just outside the open window. Set menu hard to beat, perfectly cooked, perhaps a little on the bland side of flavoursome, but that’s being picky! Great value at $85 for the 7 course set menu. Extensive wine list as well.

we did the long course set menu, and the food was excellent, every dish. Service was one of the best we have ever had as well. The young lady who looked after us had a bubbly character, and watched our table, appearing whenever she was needed. She knew the menu and wine menu very well, and really made the day for us. She was clearly very good at her job. Well worth the $100 tip (she was on break when we finally left, so we hope she got it).

May be up there with the best meal we have ever had. The Moreton Bay Bug burger is an absolute must. Marshall the waiter was extremely knowledgeable and helped make our experience the best.

Never ever disappoints. Fabulous view, incredible food and excellent service. We eat here every time we are on the GC. It’s the best!!

Whilst our waiter was great and attentive, my meal came 1 hour and 10 minutes after ordering, and the three other guests at the table had eaten and finished their entire meal. There was no apology for how long it took. It was only small plates, so no big complicated main. Disappointing. I won’t be back.
