Our waitress was great at answering questions and checked on our table multiple times. The side of pimento cheese grits I ordered where not warm. It was a little odd tasting just having the pimento cheese on top of the grits instead of mixed in but it was still edible. There was also a mix up with getting the wrong menus and who got was sides when our food came out. Overall I would still go back.

Everytime we go, phenomenal food, great service, never too crowded and vibrant enough that it feels line the place is hoppin but you can still have a convo at the table without yelling.

Service and cocktails were amazing as usual. It was very loud but that could just be because it was Mother’s Day. Food was good but not the best I have had there in the past. Definitely won’t keep me from coming there again just probably not for brunch.

Food was delicious and the service was prompt but not intrusive. A good thing. We enjoyed the experience and will be back

Our group chose Rich’s for lunch - none of us had ever been here before. Three of us got the chicken wrap, which was very good and filling. Someone else got the fish - generous portion. My friend liked it, but it had too much breading on it for my taste. Outstanding service and great drinks. I highly recommend .

I’ve been here a couple times now and like it but it’s not a place I frequent or remember to go to. The location is good, the atmosphere is awesome, the food is really good and the service is just ok. We ordered the jambalaya and the chicken ranch wrap. Both were delicious. Last time I was here we ordered lettuce wraps and they were amazing! The only downsize to the food is that an extra tiny piece of garlic bread and a side of ranch is $1/each which seems like a lot. If you like bourbon or bourbon cocktails; they have a great selection. It’s important to note that it’s only street parking, but across from hotel Covington there is a small flat lot. I haven’t had too much trouble parking but it could take a few minutes and a few drives around the block.

5 of us at our table. We ordered drinks first. It took a long time to get everyone’s. The bourbons slush was delicious Once we got drinks, we ordered appetizers, which were the best part of the meal. Chorizo oysters and buffalo cauliflower. The main course was served to everyone but 1 person at our table. We didn’t want to start eating before he got his food. I had the exact same dish as the person who was waiting on their plate. We sat there for over 5 minutes and he insisted that we start eating. My shrimp and grits were not at all warm. Mostly cold to be honest. Our friend didn’t get his plate for more than 10 minutes after we got ours. Unacceptable!His Shrimp and grits was piping hot. By the time he got his plate, we were all more than half way finished eating. The food was average. Nothing special. This was likely our first and last time dining at Riches Proper.
