Meat is top notch, but the sides are not up to the same standard. E.g., fries are standard industrial type (not home made) and sauces are nothing out of the ordinary. Other places in NY offer similar quality meats but everything else is also extraordinary. This does not justify Hawksmoor to be the most expensive.

Food, atmosphere, service, quality, etc were all top tier but the real excellence is in the staff. Their focus on the customers comfort & happiness was 1st class

The RH Dining Room Guesthouse offers a charming and elegant dining experience. The ambience is undeniably classy and beautiful, creating a perfect setting for a relaxed meal or special occasion. The decor and atmosphere are certainly standout features, contributing to a memorable visit. However, the menu left something to be desired. While it features a selection of typical dishes, it lacks variety and uniqueness. The food was decent but not extraordinary, which was a bit disappointing given the high expectations set by the luxurious surroundings. On a positive note, the service was excellent. The staff were attentive and courteous, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Despite the lackluster menu, the overall experience was enhanced by their professionalism and dedication. In summary, RH Dining Room Guesthouse is worth visiting for its stunning ambience and excellent service, but the food may not leave a lasting impression.

Highly recommend! Good for out of towners, but also a welcomed treat for New Yorkers looking for quality food and decor.

From the moment you open the door and are greeted on your way to the hostess station at RH Guesthouse, the Dining Room, you can sense their enthusiasm to make your event awesome. Our server, Christopher, was engaging and took a few minutes to get to know who we were. He watched how our table was interacting and came by at the right moment to address our needs and we never felt him interrupting us. The drink menu was very good; I wish they would add Bloody Mary's. As an appetizer, we split the Fresh Burrata and the Caesar Salad. The heirloom and cherry tomatoes were seat and went well with the pesto sauce and the creamy burrata. Two guests had steak and eggs and I had the Wagyu Ribeye Steak. The steak was flavorful and very tender. For dessert, we had an ice cream split and fresh strawberries. It was an awesome experience! We have been to the RoofTop 3 times and The Dining Room twice. We would highly recommend RH, The Dining Room in comparison to the RoofTop. The experience at The Dining Room makes you want to go back again. I am excited to go back to The Dining Room for dinner soon!
