Located above the Barclay Rex retail tobacco shop (Established in 1910), visitors can find Rex New York; a beautiful and modern cigar club with humidified lockers for members and non-members. Rex Club is open late 7 days a week and offers day passes, monthly and annual memberships.

Rex Club offers a relaxing and intimate environment to kick back and enjoy a fine cigar or pipe any day of the week. With Wifi, three flat screen TVs, high ceilings, personal lockers, state of the art ventilation system and a beautiful burning fireplace, guests are provided with a first class experience for the beginner to the experienced smoker. Conveniently located a few blocks from Wall Street, Stone Street and the Staten Island Ferry.

If you’re in lower Manhattan and love cigars, this is a must. Cost is comparable for anywhere in NYC. Well worth it.

I visited Rex Club a few times during my trip to New York and every time it was a pleasant experience. They have some nice selection of cigars and overall price/value seemed reasonable to me. I had no food there, so I really cannot comment about that; this website makes it mandatory to put some rating for food too, so I picked up the best rating for food too assuming it is good :)
