Revivalist is a throwback to a historic Huntsville tavern that once occupied this location and embodied the parlor culture of the era. We had a beautiful lunch for our 89 year old mother to celebrate her birthday. We had delicious, fresh and lovely food with an absolutely kind and very professional server. It couldn’t have been a better celebration for our mom!

Server did a great job handling our party of six. Food was really good, as was wait time.

I’ve dined here several times since it opened and I’ve noticed a drop in item availability relative to the menu and a slip in service, especially in the last few months. The last 2 times, the wine I selected from the menu was not available but they were quick to offer an alternative- always at a significantly higher price. When provided the menu, we should have been made aware of limited or unavailable items. The last time I went, the wait staff mixed tap and bottled spring water in our glasses. I had to ask for the check twice, then find a server to process it so we could make our event. Our meal was early and there was only one other table seated so a busy floor was not the reason. I will give it one more shot in hopes of an experience similar to what I had shortly after it opened where the dining experience matched the price point.

The food was absolutely amazing. The Bone in Ribeye was phenomenal. The Mushroom risotto was absolutely delicious. The staff was amazing and super nice. Would definitely recommend.

Went to Revivalist for Mother’s Day. It was so great!! In the food wasteland that is Huntsville, Revivalist stands out in all the best ways! I got the lobster and grits (from the Mother’s Day menu) and our mom got the Jackson breakfast. Delicious- all around. Great, attentive service without giving the “hovering” vibe. No detail was too small and our server was just amazing! The price matches the quality in every sense!

Went there for Mother's Day treat for my wife. We were promptly seated and met our waiter soon afterwards. We asked for coffee with cream and Splenda and he brought coffee. We had to ask three times for the Splenda. I ordered the simple bacon and eggs meal which was prepared the way I asked. The one slice of toast I received was dry and I had to ask a couple of times to get some jam. 18 dollars for bacon and eggs (plus 20% service charge) is a bit pricey for what I received.

A friend and I went for our mother's day dinner and heard wonderful things about the restaurant. To be honest, both of our food was cold and was fair at best. I got the beef frites and she got the filet. We both agree the amount of money we spent wasn't worth the quality of food. Wine on the other hand was great but I would educate servers on different types of wines, pairing and adequate suggestions. Overall, I can saw I've eaten there but wouldn't return.
