If you are able, please check this place out. It's tucked on the corner of a mini strip mall, but once you enter, it feels like your in France. Food was off the charts-- my husband got the beef cheeks and I had the scallops with spring pea risotto. Both were amazing. We went for our anniversary and the service was top notch. I thought it would be more expensive than it was.. we got appetizers (get the cheese puffs!) 2 entrees and 2 glasses of wine and it was $160 total. For this kind of food and service, I expected it to cost way more. We will definitely return.

One of the best meals I've had in a long time. Our server, Sophie was attentive, charming and a delight to spend time with. The food was spectacular, fresh, and authentic. By all appearances, EVERY SINGLE TABLE in our area was thoroughly enjoying themselves. I cannot wait to come back with more friends.

This restaurant is truly “A little Paris in the Hood” of Lafayette, CA. Varied menu and delicious offerings. The Charcuterie Platter is fun with loads of choices. You cannot go wrong with the steak/frites and the Coq au Vin is divine. We intend to work our way through the menu. Wonderful!

Reve is a local gem. Food, selection of wines, service are always top notch. A little taste of Parisienne neighborhood right in the middle of Lafayette.

We enjoyed our first visit here and will definitely be back! The food was delicious and dishes reflected spring offerings. The pea soup and pea risotto were delicious. There were many gluten free offerings and even a GF baguette!!! Our server was fun and very competent!

The food was very good and service was outstanding. You don’t want to be one of first to arrive at 5:15. You get the worse table in the house. Directly in the facing sun for the first 30 minutes.

We have been going to Rêve for special occasions for many years. Our most recent experience was perhaps the best ever. The food, wine and service were all outstanding. The prices have gone up but the overall quality made it worth it. Highly recommended.

Very friendly lovely service. Tables are a little tight for 4 and nowhere to put your purse. Food was delicious … could easily have ordered over 1/2 the menu

True gem in the East Bay. Just like finding a fine bistro while strolling the streets of Paris. It took me back to my college days studying abroad. Pace was relaxed, service was friendly and food was superb. Michelle

Service was great. The dishes were prepared perfectly. The dishes were, however, extremely rich and potent. Every thing tasted good but do not come here with a weak stomach. The dishes are very rich and it almost seems like they want to use unusual ingredients just to make it gourmet. I would try it once, but definitely would not go there again unless you are from France or like eating weird dishes.

We have eaten a Reve several times. First time in the enclosed garden which was very pleasant Food as usual was great. Service was also great. If you are looking for French food this is a good must.

We really enjoyed out dinner, the entrees were excellent and the staff friendly and accommodating. The prices are fairly high, but I don't mind as long as there is quality and the portions are satisfying, which they were!

The was good, but... Ordered the Steak Frites which was good but the amount of vegetables included was terribly disappointing. Half a brussel sprout, half slice of squash, half slice of parsnip, half a carrot was all it came with. Not sure if they just forgot to finish or what.

Hello Rick - I'm sorry for your disappointment. The Steak Frites is traditionally just that, steak & fries, nothing else. We garnish with a few vegetables to add some color to the plate. For a full serving of vegetables we offer a side of vegetables. We've reminded our staff to suggests vegetables at every table & are changing the description on the menu so it's more clear.

Unique and well-executed menu. Beef cheeks were a bit undercooked - needed to be braised a bit longer to really make them properly tender. Bread was nothing special. Overall very good though.

What Can I say about Reve. This is our 6th time coming here and we always enjoy our experience here. Food was Phenomenal as always the chef is really great at making sure the quality and taste of the dish exceeds standards. Very delicious Rabbit Tagliatelle special my wife really enjoyed it. Coq Au Vin was to die for, Lots of flavor and nice pairings with it. French Onion soup Incredible as always. I will come again and reccomend to family and friends. Also we appreciate the knowledge of the servers knowing about every dish, our server was very good.

We had a wonderful meal for my husbands birthday. The staff recognized it with a lovely card signed by the entire group. Our waiter Joel was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the food and wine! It was a very tasty celebration!

A VERY loud large table hampered the experience. Difficult to hear our own conversations at times. Otherwise, this remains my favorite nearby restaurant.
