Très chère pour l’expérience ! Table à côté de l’entrée dans un coin …les serveurs très pressés comme si on avait un avion à prendre ! Pas de d’explication des plats pour le niveau du restaurant c’est décevant ! Déçu de l’expérience

This restaurant is quite simply overrated. My partner and I were very much looking forward to dining at Restaurant Terrazza Danieli during our stay in Venice. To say we were left disappointed would be an understatement. 15 minutes after being seated we were still waiting to place an order for drinks and eventually had to ask a waiter to be served. This poor service continued throughout the sitting - meals nearly given to the wrong table, wine set up at our table for the table next to us, had to pour own water etc. I’m not sure if the waiter was an apprentice but I’ve had better service at McDonald’s. The 16 euro per person coperto is outrageous and unjustified. As for the food - the ravioli and linguine were nice but not worth the allocated price. The view is lovely so it was a real shame that other parts dampened the experience. I sincerely hope that the restaurant sees this review and makes the necessary adjustments to ensure other customers aren’t left with the same experience.

If you are lucky enough to dine here on a nice day, as we were, you will love the terrace and the views. The service was impeccable and the food very good. Be prepared to pay for the experience as it is very expensive.

Despite its reputation, our recent dining experience at Terrazza Danieli fell short of expectations and left us disappointed. This experience was marred from the moment we walked through the door, courtesy of an indiscreet welcome. We, a Greek couple and a party of four Americans, were greeted with an atmosphere akin to a crowded train station rather than a refined restaurant. All three groups were greeted by the full name of the person who made the reservation. The hostess ensured everyone knew everyone! The tables were not ready either. Instead of proposing to wait sitting at the bar, the hostess had everyone standing until the tables were set up. Despite that the confirmation of the reservation included a reference to the required dress code, we found ourselves surrounded by clients in shorts, something explicitly not permitted by Terrazza Danieli’s dress code. Concerning the culinary experience, while my wife’s starter was a decent plate, elegantly presented, mine was a different story altogether as it lacked finesse and creativity and the flavors were bland, falling short of the tastes Italian cuisine is renowned for. Both my wife and I were eager to indulge in the flavors of the octopus, stuffed eggplant and burrata sauce dish. From the first bite, it was evident that something had gone terribly wrong in the kitchen. The octopus, instead of being delicately tenderized through careful cooking techniques, was tough and chewy while the small piece of eggplant was simply undercooked. Notwithstanding that the senior staff members were professionals, it was apparent that some other staff members seemed indifferent, displaying a lack of professionalism and training. In conclusion, our visit to Danieli was nothing short of a disappointment from start to finish. From the embarrassing welcome and ambiance to the uninspired food and mediocre service. Save your time and money, and look for a restaurant that truly embodies the essence of Venetian cuisine and hospitality.

Having visited 3 Michelin star restaurants, this place simply does not compare. The food is very nice, but the prices compare to that of 3 star restaurants around the world. It is really disappointing that none of the bottles of wine are below 80 euros, which is extortionate given the price of the food starts at 40 Euros for the starters. The view is exceptional, but it simply is not with the money if you visiting for the food alone.

I've been to many restaurants around the world in my own way, but it's the worst. I visited Venice to celebrate my wedding anniversary and sent a separate e-mail to the hotel manager, so I made a reservation a month ago for the edge of a good view. But as soon as I entered this hotel, an employee came and said, "Are you a guest here?" You're asking me why I came in here. So I said the restaurant was booked and showed you the reservation details, and then you accepted it. I entered the restaurant and showed you the reservation details, but they guided me to the middle seat, not the side seat. Westerners who came in later than me will be guided to the edge. And if you look at the restaurant polish, Indians kicked out Sandal or shorts, but the European grandmother who brought slippers accepted it. The worst thing was that I canceled the card payment wrong and said I would pay again, but I told him to wait, but he just came out because he had to wait more than 30 minutes. I paid more than 500 euros. Asians are discriminated against, so never go.
