Restaurant Beatrice is a New-Orleans inspired restaurant that celebrates the magic of Louisianan cuisine. Find yourself sitting amidst a fleur-de-lys wallpapered dining room in a renovated charming Craftsman home as you enjoy a seasonal contemporary Cajun/Creole menu originating from the creativity and heirloom recipes of Cajun Chef Michelle Carpenter.

Beatrice achieved Platinum Level Green Business Certification with the city. Operations make considerations for the environment, all people, and our community. We work closely with local farmers and we compost 100% of food waste. Nearly everything is scratch-made, from andouille sausage to citrus stock used in drinks.

It was the 2nd birthday week for Beatrice and Chef Michelle Carpenter and her team brought wonderful specials for the occasion. The squash blossoms filled with cheese and served with a tomato sauce are worth an increase in size for a vegetarian entree - I would order it! The crab and corn beignets come with a spice remoulade and are mainly crab, with some corn and no fillers. So wonderfully delicious! The Cajun lasagne comes spicy, with more delicious béchamel than tomato, ricotta amped up with cream cheese, in a generous portion served right in the cast iron pan it was baked in. Crispy edges! The pork chop comes from a happy pig that was well taken care of while growing up, making it a delicious meat. I'm a very happy - and full - customer!

We were a group of 6 and we split several apps, entrees, and desserts. Everything we had was incredible, and Daniel, our waiter, was the best!

It was a special event for Maker’s Mark. Things felt a bit rushed but the food was good. Nice, casual ambience. I thought the waitstaff was not as attentive as could be with our entrees arriving while I was finishing my appetizer and my dessert arriving when I was finishing my entree but it may have been the nature of the special event. I will go back and see how it goes.

Phenomenal food and service. This place is an absolute gem. My wife and I visited Restaurant Beatrice for the first time in December of 2023 and have been back 1-2X per month ever since. Every single menu item we’ve had is absolutely fantastic, and Beatrice keeps it fresh by regularly updating the menu and offering many special, seasonal items. Seriously, if you don’t have a great time and enjoy yourself at Beatrice there’s probably something wrong with you. Go here: you won’t be disappointed

Such a cute restaurant with EXCELLENT FOOD! Took my son and daughter-in-law for her birthday and had an amazing time! Our waiter was great and so knowledgeable of all the items on the menu and drinks! The GM was also Amazing! She didn’t like the way the French toast looked when it was brought out (we thought it looked fine) so she brought out another plate! Such great service, attention to detail and great food!!! Will definitely be back soon!!!

Simply amazing. Not only is each dish superb but you’ll be hard pressed to find fried chicken as scrumptious as what Beatrice serves.

An outstanding meal. Highlights for the 4 of us were the old fashioned and the distiladora maestra cocktails, the crab & crawfish beignets, the fried okra, the fried green tomatoes, the shrimp & grits and the truffle mushroom risotto. We also ordered the bread basket, fried chicken and the redfish special. We were sadly too full to order dessert. Restaurant is small but not crowded. Service was attentive and the pace of the meal was perfect. We will be back because I’m still dreaming about those crab beignets. Thank you Restaurant Beatrice.

Oh my goodness! We could not have loved our experience and our meal more. The service was top-notch, the chef came out to greet the diners, and every bite was perfectly prepared.

Best Date Night Dinner! Our post Valentine's dinner was worth the trip from McKinney and more. This was our 1st time visiting and won't be our last. I managed to take only one photo because the food and experience was incredible. Can't wait to go again.

We’ve had a reservation for 2 at the bar and when we arrived all the seats were taken. However they were able to give us a table right away. Thanks for that. Food is very tasty and quantity are huge. We will definitely go back.

My most recent visit to Restaurant Beatrice was outstanding. Their Mardi Gras menu was terrific. I absolutely loved the Jambalaya Atchafalaya topped with a smoky, black-crusted chicken thigh and leg. The rice underneath was superb with its Cajun trinity of onion, celery and bell pepper plus crawfish. Delish! Plus, the service was exceptional.

Really good food, but the salt content was excessive with the entrees (etouffee and snapper Pontchartrain). Boudin was fabulous, as was the citrus influenced salad. Cocktails were excellent. Service as professional and smooth.

Waitstaff was wonderful and had good suggestions for choices of food. Great ambiance and can't wait for the good weather to come so we can join a Boil on the patio! Great authentic NOLA dishes and cocktails.

The New Orleans cocktail dinner was fantastic in so many ways. Every course was so delicious and creative. We especially liked the duck confit and Oysters Bienville. The cocktails were perfectly paired with each dish and was really cool to try and learn about classic New Orleans cocktails that you can’t find in Dallas. The staff took great care of us and the manager, Ramona, was lovely. We can’t wait to go back!

The food is freaking amazing! I am from Louisiana and the food is the epitome of Louisiana cuisine. Great service and phenomenal food.

Awesome meal and great service! One of the best meals we have eaten in Dallas in the past year. Great wine recommendation with the Old Ghost Zinfandel.
